We are going on a Med cruise in the summer. In places like Sardinia and Corsica are there beaches near the ports?? We are taking two kids and I know they will want to spend some time at the beach. If not do you know if they are far?? Thanks

Hi there Shipletts .My wife and I were on the Island Star in early May and on our Days visit to Corsica, we moored up the dock area of Ajaccio.we took a Bicycle half day excursion and went past some great beach areas. within walking distance of the ship. Also on the bike ride we stopped off at St Antoine Beach which i would guess is around 4-5 miles from the dock area, It had a beach bar and cafe
On Sardinia i understand there is a great Beach at Lazzaretto,Not sure how far that is from docking area which in our case was Alghero
kind regards Quizzer
