Hi Paul

You can borrow an iron free of charge but it has to be returned back soon.

Everytime i've been on a cruise i've never seen many youngsters, however don't let this put you off as there are activities that they can get involved in are there are film shows, evening entertainment etc and of course you maybe going out and about at each ports of call.

Have fun

There are quite a few activities albeit not as many as there used to be on the other ships, not young enough to go into the teen areas now although look it so i cant tell you exactly what the situation is there. I went in january and there were quite a few chavs milling around wreaking havoc as there were no teen activities on. On the other hand, im led to believe the childrens activities were pretty good.

My wife amd I were aboard Destiny last july 2006. There appeared to be lots of things for the kids of all ages to do, providing they are willing to join in!
The family entertainment on a night included proffessional shows and family games, and there ios a disco for all ages every night.

The children all seemmed to love the midnight feasts and there is a basket ball area for them. The Destiny has two pools, one of which is adult only.

During the day the various tours to different countries are very interesting on there own, but please be warned, they are expensive if you go on an organised tour. Example Rome for a day 75.

It is also advisable to take a fully inclusive drinks package, becasue on board alcohol and soft drinks are not cheap.

We loved our cruise on the Destiny and will be returning next year.

Enjoy
