Hi jp,
All towels are supplied even pool towels, you may have them changed daily or whenever you like by placing them on the floor, if you want to use them again hang them up on the rails.
Because of the risk of fire, electrical items should not be used in cabins, except for those provided, although most passengers seem to think its ok to use them.
You will find a laundry and ironing room on deck three I think, which is for the most part free.
Have a great cruise and remember cruising is like being in 'The Garden of Eating'

Towels on Destiny
Hi jp76,
All towels are provided on Destiny including the pool towels to put on your sunbeds. If you want a towel changed just drop it on the bathroom floor and the steward will automatically change it for you.
There isn't an iron in your cabin and it is a big no no to take one with you as they are considered a major fire risk. Just ask the steward to get something ironed for you, there is a charge but it is minimal. Hope you have a great cruise.
Cheers Chris

Have to query the laundry room thing - I've been on Destiny three times and there's never been a self-service laundry - only a laundry and ironing cabin service that you have to pay for - unless this is a new addition to the ship in the past year?

Yeah I stand corrected there. For some reason I never read 'Destiny'
she does not have a ironing room, unlike the Celebration & the Spirit which do.
However as said she offers a pressing & Laundry service at a small charge.
Put it down to Jet Lag just got back from our 60th cruise, clocking up 750 cruising days in all, trying for the thousand before I meet my maker.
My apologies if you have already read first post

The answer is yes you may take the towels ashore,
BUT
If you miss-place or lose them you are charged.
Based on our miss-adventure with them at 15 each.
This rule may have been changed check when on board.

damn, I was hoping you were going to say the laundry had been put in since I was last on - that's probably the only thing I liked about Ocean Village last year, the two self-service laundrettes!
