| We just returned from the Destiny, Mediterranean Renaissance last week. We were first time cruisers full stop and all I can say is I am so pleased the Destiny was our first. What a way to start becoming addicted to cruising. You will enjoy absolutely everything, from the steward service, to the waiters and bar staff, entertainment staff and your fellow holiday makers. Everyone on board this ship was fantastic and we met so many lovely people.
The food is out of this world and we really felt like the whole experience was a treat, not something we had actually paid for and we were going to make sure we were getting our 'money's worth'. We never wanted for anything and enjoyed every minute of this cruise. Our kids actually commented on the way home that this was the best holiday they had ever had even compared to Disneyworld at Florida!! I can't understand these people who come back and the first thing they do is moan about food going cold, entertainment rubbish. They obviously weren't on the same cruise as us.
You will have a fab time and forget the comments about the ship being in need of an update and the cabins tiny. For goodness sake people, get over it will you!!!!!
