taking wine on board
I have heard that Thomsons are not to keen for you to take wine on board after you have been in port. Not that we are heavy drinkers, I just like to have a glass while getting ready in the evening. Could anyone help with this. Do not want the embarrassment of having it confiscated in front of other passengers. This is our first cruise by the way and that is why I am asking. When we holiday in hotels I always take a bottle to the room. Many thanks

Thanks for your quick reply - will look forward to my glass of wine in the evening - might even manage a cocktail after dinner.

What they do is spot check bags for drinks, some are lucky others not so, it all depends if they are scanning your bags.
