| we are going cruising on the spirit on 27 june 2008 for 1 week, could anyone tell us which night the captains cocktail party is. also my brother & sister in-law are having a blessing at sea on the same cruise could anyone help with when this would happen & where ?

Captain's night is normally the third or forth night out, though this can change to the last but one night. If you have a sea day during the cruise then that will be Captain's night, and also it is likely to be the 'Blessings' as well.
Otherwise blessing are carried out at Pursers discrestion you be contacted once on board for final arrangements.
If you can contact Thomson Service desk, they may be able to give exact dates, but don't count on it.

we are going on the spirit too. our itinerary the med renaissance. means we are at sea on the second day, so as tenpin says this might be our captains night, i hope so -it means my dress will still fit. i gave up the cigs for new year and piled on the pounds, as i looked on other posts im am pleased about this as some people state you cant smoke inside. this will help me a lot. have a nice cruise. carol

| Just returned from the med renaissance cruise on the Spirit, the Captains party was the 2nd night which was the day at sea. There were 3 blessings on the cruise and they were all on the next to last night on the bridge I believe. Wish I was going back with you it was fab.

| It's right, you can't smoke inside the Spirit; open decks only, in certain areas.
We returned on 19th April after a great week. Captain's Night was the 2nd night, as has been stated.
Forn more details about the ship, plz click on my review, which is v...e...r...y....l...o...n...g but should give you a lot of general info, especially if you're a 1st timer.
