Comments: We were lucky enough to be able to take advantage of a Thomsons excursion from our Hotel in Tenerife.
It was the chance to spend one night onboard the Thomson Spirit. Due to the fact that we have four children, we have always been dubious about booking a cruise, due to the cost and we were unsure whether it would be suitable for the children. So we jumped at the chance of this excursion which sailed from Tenerife to Gran Canaria, the staff were excellent, the rooms were clean and we were made to feel so special, nothing being too much trouble for the staff.
The food was excellent; the children loved the fact that they could eat when they wanted and what they wanted. We watched a show, which was first class. The night we spent on the Thomson Spirit combined with our stay at the Tenerife Princess was one of the best holidays we have ever had and we were definitely smitten with the 'bug' to cruise.
We all loved it so much that as soon as we returned home to England we went out and booked a cruise on the Thomson Celebration cruising in January 2006 - we cannot wait!!
