Hi litch how many points did �10000 points buy you because it would be interesting to know for others,so they can judge if they go to a presentation how many points it would take for 2 weeks away.

The one thing that i did not understand was they always give you the pack when you sign did they tell you why you had to wait for yours.

Did you take the name of the person who rang you and the time so we can contact DRI and tell them that LCI is cold calling,they will want to contact you for verification so if you can give one of the moderators your details they can tell me they have received them (i don't wish to know them)and i will get the ball rolling.

Please dont ask for other members details, if they want you to have them they will no doubt let you know. IF they do contact us with their details after reading this, we wouldnt "pass" them on to you anyway, it is something we dont do on this web site, as a matter of privacy.

Hi Jan you did not read my post correctly"so if you can give one of the moderators your details they can tell me they have received them (i don't wish to know them)"it is proof that the poster is actually telling the truth,rather than what is the norm to make unfounded allegation's knowing full well they will never be removed hence why Fullmontys are allowed to stay.

The Sunday Times did a article a few months back making accusations but were quick to remove the offending article,when they realised they had no proof and as those of us who complained knew that they were set up by a person opposed to DRI (on this occasion not fullmonty or marjory).

Jan you must see that to make a accusation is very easy but what can be done without even the basic information like dates names than all you get is that accusation spread around this site,hence why Fullmonty referred to it on the locked post.

That accusation is now on the history of this site as fact so what you have done is got rid of a thousand years of basic rights INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

Bazrat - your post was misread but no-one is going to be asked for personal information so there is no point in being rude to the moderators. LCI has a long history of abusing the telephone preference system even after giving a formal assurance that they would not and I do not see why you feel it necessary to defend them. It has no effect on you as you are inside the system but LCI is certainly on record as having annoyed a lot of people. It will be proof of DRI's commitment to customer service if we stop seeing complaints about resellers, and it will also be to their own benefit.

Hi Fred my apologies to those moderators who believe i was being rude i just pointed out the fact i have no interest in anybody's personnel information so if it offends than i am sorry.

LCI had a track record nobody could be proud of but when they promised to clean there act up it was before DRI that i believe is beyond dispute.

DRI as moved as quickly as they could to remove agents there being only 3 left each were spoken to and there should be none by the end of the year.

Your last point hits it on the nail look at the complaints on here there is mention of company's that are no longer in existence,there is mention of LCI but no details (if you read the threads on other sites detail if foremost)
and there is mention of sunterra a company which no longer in exists the new company is a totally different animal.

So Fred how can the complaints ever stop when nobody challenges and asks the simple question were is the detail without detail nothing ever can be done.

Sorry Fred it must be my time as a shop steward taking employers to court,one thing that i knew i required was the facts not hearsay.

I confess that I had imagined you as Fred Kite. This thread is about APD which a lot of people were unhappy with. It is not about LCI which a lot of people were also unhappy with. We can but hope that what went on will soon be history but as I said, time will tell. There is no point in continuing to rake over old ground and to do so is close to obsessive. This thread is now completely pointless unless anyone has any further valid comment to make about the CURRENT practices of APD AND ONLY APD.

Well, I got a call from APD Leisure just before the Bank Holiday weekend. It sounded as though there was a party going on in the background and I couldn't hear the girl (who sounded about 12 yrs old) very well, but she told me I had been awarded a Mediterranean holiday for filling in a survey on the flight home. This was news to me as (a) I haven't been out of the UK or in an aircraft since 2006 and (b) I don't fill in surveys. She promised to send me some info in the post.
I was a bit dubious and concerned that it might be an attempt at Identity Theft.
Last night I got another call from them, this time another girl. She asked if I was going to keep my appointment this Saturday at Carnforth to collect my holiday documents - I said I hadn't made any appointment. Sure enough a letter had arrived yesterday offering me an appoinmtent at 3:00 pm on Saturday. The girl changed my appointment to the following week. I've also been awarded a Bonus award of a weekend or midweek break in the UK. These people are very 'pushy' and I know that if I go to Carnforth I shall be heavily pressurised into joining their 'club' and I don't have that sort of money to throw away.
The letter informs me that the holiday will cost �34.50 each and there are no hidden charges but on the back, in very small print, it says that all airport taxes are payable.
This is just another rip-off like Time-Share!

Selly75 - I had a call yesterday from a company who I at first thought was called ATB leisure, but from reading your post is probably APD Leisure as all the details match!! Including the Carnforth presentation! Have you been on the holiday? Im thinking it sounds dodgy - could you give me a bit more info??!! Thanks
