Buena viva VIP points- Exeter- HELP!!

Postby mandy1271 on Thu Jan 10, 2008 11:58 am

Hi all
just recieved a letter from GE money about my payments which are due to start in Feb they have gone from 204 from when we foolishly took out the loan to 283, really dont know what to do shall i cancel DD? or shall we pay. Devon Trading Standards has all my paperwork now we will see if they can come up with something. Did you all have a Purchase Aggreement when you signed up? we didnt, have asked VIP for a copy been told by Timeshare consumers Ass that if they dont then there was no reason for the loan, awaiting reply from VIP on that one.

Buena viva VIP points- Exeter- HELP!!

Postby sukie on Thu Jan 17, 2008 6:15 pm

hi all,

My wife and i attended a promotion in Exeter in august 07.

Regarding vip points, we brought 60 points and signed up with GE money lending for the hp. We were promised that when our first payment was due for GE, (Which was 199) Buena Vista would pay 100 towards the 199 for 10 months. then i would be responsible for the rest of the payments over the term.
I would be interested if any other members have had this deal and did Vip/buena vista pay the money back as was promised.
I have all this in form of a letter from buena viva, is this letter legal??

Also, was any members told that they were ABTA members???

Hi
Yes we were paid 100 into our bank from a firm in Gibraltar it all looks good but i am still a bit sceptical about the whole arrangement. I telephoned the Exeter office today to book a holiday for my son they told me that they dont book holidays there and gave me a 0870 number and when i rang them they told me that all my resorts can be looked at on the atlas wedsite another name to add to the scamers how many more names do these people want to be known as i wonder.

See Screenbeach thread below. Their site was registered by Buena Viva. Trying to look like a reseller but most probably just another way to offload VIP points.
