We too have experienced similar threats to yourself. This morning a letter arrived from a debt collection agency in the UK threatening court action, Bailiffs calling at our premises, and what we took to be an implied threat against our future credit rating. Instead of the £90.00 administration fee they say we now owe £121.40 within 7 days or we will also owe court fees.
We have previously been in contact with the European Consumer Centre in Spain who have told us:-
“Anyway, regarding the payment demand made by Elite Holidays Royal Travel, don’t worry, you don’t need to pay anything or reply to them. However, if you wish to do so, you may tell them that any further contacts must be with us since we are dealing with your claim, and that any further direct demands to you will be considered as harassment and, therefore, reported to the police.”
Hope this helps.

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has had any further updates with regard to claiming back money and also, has anyone had any further contact from the debt collection companies?? We've had several letters from a company called EHRT! But as of yet nothing else. Has anyone actually had a visit from the bailiffs?
We're not sure if we should seek legal action or just ignore the letters or quite what the best course of action would be!
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Jo

dear oh dear,
when are you all going to get it.
Holiday Clubs/Time-Shares mostly all run by the mafia.
Kiss your hard earned money goodbye.
Good luck with the lawyers though, a sort of legalised mafia in order to extract more pain from you.

I seem to remember that Carpe Diem was closed down by the Spanish police but may be operating under a new name.
If you paid by credit card it might be a struggle but I would think persistence might get you your money back.
