Hi Fred2
No I'm afraid not. I realised it wasn't the Tourist Board, as you say they wouldn't do this, but I want people to know that this is the latest trick to make you think its all genuine. Strangely enough as soon as I said I wasn't interested the woman rang off - maybe she realised she wasn't going to get anywhere!

Club Class Holidays 'Take over' buy back.
We have been offered 20,000 gb pounds for 100 shares in Club Class by Samuel-Bergen Partnership. We have dificulty contacting them and are very suspicious.
If we agree then they want details of our bank to send the money to and we reckon they will use our details for illegal purposes.
We were cold called in the first place .
Anyone else shed any light on this as the whole thing seems too good to be true.

It is a scam, pure and simple. Do not give them any details and tell them not to bother you. What do they describe themselves as - and have they said that there is an 'international buyer' (- probably French and called Devereaux)?
Dishonest people. Leave well alone.

FRED2
thanks alot.
Samuel- Bergen Partnerships described themselves as an agent for the purchasers " groupe ixis c". We looked this up on the internet and it is very similar to a French International Bank that came up on the google search!!
We are now certain it is a scam and hope this helps anyone else. Funny how the purchasers seem to all be French?!!
We were first approached to sell our shares by a Rachel Williams on behalf of MC&S Services. (We originally had an RCI timeshare in Ibiza and were approached by this companyin 2003 to buy it and to join Clubclass --to our regret we did so and soon afterwards we had the feeling we had been scammed) We have all the relevant paperwork from that deal and wonder if there is anyway of getting recompense for this. We are so sorry we ever gave up RCI as we always had good deals!
Live and learn I quess is the lesson here!

Reading all of this brings back the nightmare! We fell hook, line and sinker to the same Club Class/TenLanz Vacations selling techniques! We also parted with our money, only to find out later that this was a scam! Until now we have been unable to do anything about it - because until we have given Reclaim Ltd the chance to send us some money back we didnt actually have 100% proof that this was a futile effort. I also have been approached by Key Properties Advisory Service before now (trying to get me to send them another 750 upfront so they can fight my case - allegedly), I didnt fall for that one! Now we have a letter from Reclaim Ltd - "we are about to send you some money, send us your bank details"...Why would I trust them to do this? I have serious doubts. Before I do anything, I want to know - has anybody got this far yet? What should I do? Am I STILL being conned? Couldn't I just open a special bank account where they can pay money in, withdraw the cash then close it again?

I have also been contacted recently by Sarah Sebastian of the Samuel Bergen Partnership offering to buy my 100 Club Class shares for 200 per share. They are wanting 16% tax payment to be made and at the same time the bankers draft for the remainder will be sent to my bank!
Am very suspicious especially after reading all the postings on this forum.

Many of you ahve mentioned the "Free week in Tenerife" It will be a genuine holiday but it will be the standard "Come and have a holiday on us and you must attend a presentation".
Many organisations offer these and the presentation is a high power sell for what used to be called Timeshare but these days can be a Holiday club or anything that is really timeshare but certainly not called by that name and strenuously denied.
Go on the holiday if you wish but be absolutely firm in your "not interested" stand unless you really want to buy into that kind of thing.

Sorry - me again.
You will have guessed that the only reason I came to this thread was that we also were stung by Diamond and now somebody wants to buy our shares. Isn't it strange that we all seem to have 100 shares!
You can bet your boots that however strongly they say there is no money up front (as they're telling us at the moment) there will eventually be a payment to make "because the Spanish lawyers won't do anything until they are paid" DON'T PAY ANY MONEY and don't fall for the "If you pay by credit card your payment is insured" It's not. The only way the card bank would refund would be if you could prove that the company didn't TRY to get your sale ratified.
Been there, done that, got the tee shirt, sold it on Ebay!
