I wrote regarding Ventura 1 in July.We were awaiting a brochure to choose a holiday we won.
Surprise surprise, the brochure has arrived, with two European hotel break vouchers.
Top & bottom of it is, you coose a hotel, if they say they will take you, you get the room & bed, but have to pay top price for breakfast & dinner, which you must have!!
The woman in charge is Sasha Alexander ( I think she is married to the person who fronts the Ventura game).

FullMonty - not officially it isn't. The gentleman is banned as a director until January 2012. There is a very close connection.

Of course - just that if it is in the Exeter area who can make an educated guess as to who might be involved - similarly in the Bournemouth area we can also make an educated guess.

After attending a lengthy presentation, we were given an application form to obtain M&S vouchers to the value of £50, but these have never been sent to us ( we have been waiting since the end of July). We have contacted ventura by telephone and left a message, and not heard back from them at all.

I recieved a telephone call from theses only yesterday telling me I had won a free Christmas hamper and a holiday.I asked what the catch was because you do not get something for nothing.I was told that I had to attend a 2hr prensentation at the weekend in Southhampton.I then asked if it was timeshare to which the reply was no.
I picked a date and time and told them that my partner could not attend as he was busy but I along with my daughter would attend.My address was taken for the confirmation letter.
Sone 20 mins later someone called Sasha phoned back telling me she could not read her collegues writing,but was my partner and I alright to attent at the given time I explained that only I could attent she then became very rude and even hung up on me.
I phoned back to make a complaint but she anwered,I asked to speak to who ever was in charge to make a complaint and she told me that she was in charge.I then asked for address details so that I could complain in writing.
But on searching the internet I discovered that all is not right.

My wife and I went on a presentation in Southampton yesterday 24th October, we were told to expect to receive a £50.00 hamper and a free holiday inculding the UK. After two & a half hours of hard selling, it all sounded too good to be true and after he offered me £4,500 pounds for my timeshare which I have tried to sell and cannot even give it back to the timeshare resort for nothing, this confirmed that this is a big con!!

Warning bells rang again when they said they would not accept credit cards only cash or cheque with a 7 day cooling off peroid.

We said we would go home and think about it and they were not very happy about this but said they would phone us today, after reading the reports on this site we are obviously not going ahead.

The hamper we were given was no more than about £5.00 in value and our free holiday voucher did not include the UK!!

The cost I was expected to pay after them buying my timeshare was just under £5,000 I would be interested to know what other people have been offered.

Looks like the merchant account has been withdrawn.

Pity the credit card companies don't do it more often.

We received a phone call telling us that we have won a holiday and a £25 pounds M&S gift voucher, My husband & I then attended a meeting at Millennium House, Priestly Road, Basingstoke, we were subjected to hours of HARD SELL to join a worthless holiday club. The person behind the company is man called Frank Madden as seen on the BBC inside out programme http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/south/series9/week_nine.shtml
We are still awaiting the brochure from which to choose the free holiday from and the M&S gift vouchers, when we call the office we just get told its being dealt with. This company is just a con.
