when we first went to book it we sent that form to batley, we were then contacted from another company in Tenerife who deals with the bookings, was a bit confused with it all at first but got sorted in the end

EDITED BY JAN

IP ADDRESS LOGGED AS SPAIN AND EXACTLY THE SAME ADDRESS AS HAPPYSANDGIRL..!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF I WERE A POSSIBLE VICTIM ( SORRY ) CUSTOMER I WOULD TOTALLY DISREGARD BOTH OF THESE POSTERS AND THEIR COMMENTS.

I have copied this from my posting Oct 2007 Club Class Concierge thread. I was sent these vouchers from CCC when I cancelled my contract. They were so say a gesture of goodwill.

Thanks - I knew that I had heard of it. The tie-up with CCC is disturbing.

So is the fact that the Golden Travel Club Limited has also been dissolved - in April 08 - so it doesn't exist and no-one is entitled to use the name. There may be an oversea company of that name of course.

Octopus is a service company providing offshore company formation, banking and management facilities. It also operates in Gibraltar.

I to have recived vouchers via Club Class Concierge and I think the thing to note here is that the disssolved company appears to have been Golden Travel Club Ltd, our vouchers and the intial query are for Golden Travel Ltd. They have dropped the Club.

It's good to know that at least someone has had a succesfull booking as I have been very sceptical.

Stellycat - read higher up. Golden Travel Limited - a UK company - was dissolved in 2007. There is no foreign company of that name with a registered place of business in the UK - so it does not exist as a legitimate entity, if at all, and one glowing reference does not make it exist.

Well I wouldnt think they had a succesfull booking, they are both the same person and both at the same IP address in SPAIN..
Make of this what you will.
These people will go to any length to trap possible customers.

Give them enough rope and they invariably hang themselves - and not just on this thread. They really are not very bright, are they?

Shellycat- If you have been sent a Blue booklet with the Holiday request form in the middle all they have done is put a sticker over the old name and address and called if Golden Travel Ltd. I suggest you read the general terms and conditions in there it states Golden Travel Club.

Totrusting - Stellycat is well aware of the score - it is posting from Spain in an attempt to reassure you that the thing is OK.

I'm thinking of taking legal advise, do you know what spanish authority I should get in touch with or a spanish solicitor. I don't know if any solicitor in England would be able to advise me?
I was told by someone in spain that the spanish government has bought in a new European legislation to clamp down on misleading selling and I should have a denownser served on this company because the product was not fit for purpose being sold. I do not know who would be able to serve this notice. Thank you for all your help.
