Help for Timeshare/Points Owners

Postby TSC on Wed Jun 11, 2008 2:58 pm

Hi to all
We have over 20 years experience working within the Timeshare industry. Starting with fixed week TS, through changes from floating weeks, colour bands, points and various clubs. We are now out of the TS industry and are in the process of developing a consultancy in order to set the record straight for TS owners worlwide.
We will expose all the scams and advise the best way to manage your situation.
However, please note, we are a company, we have to provide an income, so before we set our fees, we are seeking your advise as TS owners. How much would a one-off consultancy fee be worth to you for legitimate, helpful information?
Our aim is to save you from wasting your TIME, MONEY and the obvious DISAPPOINTMENT involved in this so called 'holiday industry'.
Thanks, any feedback greatly appreciated.

Question "How much would a one-off consultancy fee be worth to you for legitimate, helpful information?"

Answer Absolutely nothing. There is a mass of information available totally free so why would anybody pay? There is a considerable amount of new legislation either in place or on the way to protect purchasers in Holiday Club scams. The last thing that anybody needs is another company coming along with bright new ideas on how to seperate the victim from even more money.

Dear TSUSER and to everyone else concerned.

Granted, there is a 'mass of information freely available' however, will it tell TS owners how to manipulate the system to their advantage?

Will it tell TS owners who have attended, or are about to attend cash back presentations how an evaluation for their current TS is reached?

Or, the inside facts about cash back, flight prices, holiday comparisons and Club Class Concierge, VIP, points, fixed or floating week TS?

Will this new legislation also give potential TS owners/ points owners a detailed insight into how the promise of a free holiday will work?

In addition, there is undoubtedly a wealth of well meaning information available on these forums but having researched much of it our conclusion is, unless you have extensive experience of the TS industry and how it is sold purely on misrepresentation, the problems will always exist.

We are here to help those people who wish to be helped, the choice is theirs.

People would need to know far more about anyone who says that they can assist - for a fee. Proof of experience, bona-fides and so on. Perhaps it is the reputation of the industry, but that's the way it is. I don't think that anyone here would be up for an "up-front fee". I pay on results.

Dear Fred 2

You will appreciate that the reputation of the TS industry dictates the need for the utmost discretion on our part.

With the best will in the world, all these forums provide is a little comfort in knowing there are others in the same predicament. The same knowledge is shared but no real solutions are offered.

If TS owners (or potential buyers) require realistic facts regarding ...

Timeshare, points, cashback, selling/purchasing, free holidays, presentation meetings, valuations, or misrepresentation.

We have the advice they will need.

Anyone needing help can e mail us at:
truthshare@yahoo.co.uk

Our one off, up-front consultancy fee has been set at 100. This fee will only be due, once our clients are satisfied we are able to assist them.

No, we are not Inventory Solutions. We are a couple, with extensive knowledge of how Timeshare is miss-sold and solutions to many of the problems people are now facing.

We are in the early stages of preparing our new company which will be called Truthshare Consultancy.

With 20 years of experience in actually selling Timeshare, ie; working at TS resorts and franchises all over Europe, we feel we are more than qualified to now help others.

You say

"With the best will in the world, all these forums provide is a little comfort in knowing there are others in the same predicament. The same knowledge is shared but no real solutions are offered."

I disagree. Both this forum and Timesharetalk are quite effective and are free. Many here are quite experienced. There is evidence of problems being brought to a satisfactory conclusion. In addition, I suspect that for everyone posting a problem there may be ten more who read the advice and sort their problem out without posting - and perhaps a further twenty who don't get caught in the first place as a result of reading it.
