I have passed on details of this company to the BBC Watchdog programme. If any of you would like to do the same, perhaps they might investigate if they get enough reports?

Holiday Network Solutions
I too have had a couple of calls from Holiday Network Solutions recently, offering to advertise my timeshare weeks for sale "they do not sell timeshares only advertise" they say! I questioned what happens if they have a client willing to buy my timeshare and they back out of the sale shortly after (which is what does happen). If I had already paid the "750", which is the sum the Richard Ross of Holiday Network Solutions told me I had to pay to secure the sale. I would pay through my credit card and the credit card company would repay the money to me, so they say. Ultimately the cost of all these claims would be put back to us, the borrower. The person doing the scam gets off scotfree.
Try contacting VOICE Not sure of the complete contact address but you should be able to source it through Google. I contacted them when I was approached by another company wanting to sell my timeshare and they also asked for money up front. I was stupid enough to part with over 500 and regretted it instantly. Luckily enough I found out about VOICE and they contacted the company. It took just a couple of weeks and the company contacted me. I got my money back with just 30 for their "admin". I learned my lesson, do not trust any of the companies that look for money upfront. There is legitimate companies out there, you just have to find them. Usually they are the companies that tell you the true value of your timeshare. Timeshare is not an investment in property, it is an investment on holidays. WeI have thoroughly enjoyed many fantastic holidays using RCI to exchange my weeks, also enjoyed my own timeshare weeks in Tenerife. At the end of the day, the timeshare is not worth a lot of money after 15 years, but the enjoyment has been immense.

We have been contacted by a guy called Gary Marshall same story, he told us to contact the credit card company to check that we have 90 days protection, and as we have been stalling trying to trace them they have uped the offer by 2000. Saying they have a buyer who only has a few days left of their vacation. We realised straight away that it was a scam as they new all about our time share appartment We told him we were going to check him out so he sent us a copy of the offer which was really amateur. We have spoken to RCI who told us to contact "Voice" at voiceeu.com, or on 08702408993 where you can find reputable resale compnies listed.

My dad was contacted by Holiday Network Solutions on Thurs 4th Oct by Sarah Short (sounding quite plausible) saying that there was a couple in the office who wanted to buy his timeshare weeks for 5800. She told him they needed payment of 795 to cover legal and admin, so he gave her his credit card details and was told it would go into a holding account. As soon as he told me i got onto the internet and found out that it was a scam. He telephoned credit card company straight away to cancel his card and was told that they'd already taken the money out (more than was asked for). I then sent Holiday Network Solutions an email and a letter by recorded delivery stating that he was using his right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations act and that he wanted a full refund. I received an email stating that the DSR act didn't cover timeshare which is a load of rubbish. My dad has received a letter from Credit Card Co and it sounds quite likely that he will get his money back through the clawback system but it is absolutely outrageous that these people are allowed to get away with it over and over again. We have been in touch with Trading Standards and anyone else we can think of.

Hi, I am in the same situation as Notts. My father has paid 800 by credit card. Trying to check the company out I found this site. Can anyone advise on what to do next?

Have had an offer from Holiday Network Solutions over the phone for my Clubclass, and wanting 795 up front by Visa or Mastercard returnable once the Sale Money is is in my account. I am told by them that if the sale is not completed in 4-6 weeks I can get this 795 back. They quote the 1974 Consumer Credit Act section 75. and say this covers me for up to 90 days world wide.
This company is I think registered in Spain and is not a Public Llimited Company (PLC). Visa passed me on to the Office of Fair Trading.
I checked with the Office of Fair Trading, who put me onto the enquiries of the Consumer Direct Advice Line, who passed me onto the S.West branch, i.e. in my area, who told me I needed a contract before signing anything or parting with any money.
They then passed me onto The Timeshare Consumer Association 01909 591 100. The gentleman there told me "It is a scam. Timeshare does not sell for thousands of pounds, rather hundreds. If you stop paying the annual membership you will save it, and loose the timeshare. So what, if you don't use it, cut your losses.
The people at Holiday Network Solutions told me that the person running the TCA is a crook, has been involved in timeshare scams himself and is now telling alll enquirers that all resale companies are crooks, and operate scams.
It seems to me thet there are lots of pots calling kettles Black. I don't know who, if anyone to trust, but I do know that if I ask to see a contract and am not sent one before paying out money, I am a fool.
I do trust the Consumer Direct Line people.
I Hope this helps someone out there having the same type of call. How do they get our phone number? Probably from the crooks who sold us the weeks in the first place by telling us that we would get lots of money for the Timeshare Points they had sold for us and which never materialised. Jet Set Marketing ring a bell for anyone??
