Dont belive that last comment.I know they have all these destinations listed but you try and book one other than cyprus,zante,egypt (think thats them all) and see what excuse they come up with as to why you cant go there.If I am wrong things may have changed,but I doubt it.

After my previous E Mail about being duped by Lion Resorts, they have today paid me back all of my deposit.It did take 4 months and lots of E Mails but thankfully they finally came up trumps.Thanks to the people that sent me an E Mail

I would just like to say that i have just returned from cyprus after holidaying with lion resorts. This holiday was the best one we have ever been on. Top quality,great staff and a holiday home for two weeks that takes some beating. It appears that all the people moaning on this site havn,t tried it out after buying, but just regret buying it when they get home and are just whinging how to cancel and get back their deposits etc..Dont worry it,s great and you will have a fantastic holiday!!.

Hi Alan, well from what we later find outi sYOU and your wife were drunk in a bar down the road leaving your kids alone, turns out the man named was looking after them because they were lost an alone with no guardians looking after them. As the police later found out!!!!

hi. Whils't honeymooning in Paphos May 08, we got roped in to the scratchcard thing. However we went along with it and ended up joining. To cut a long story short..ish, we booked our 2 week free holiday at Tamra Beach Resort for 21st may 09. This was confirmed in writing from Lion resorts, so we went ahead and booked our flights. After reading reports on here and finding out that someone else had booked the Tamra only to find out after they arrived that they did not in fact have accomodation there, i emailed Lions telling them i was worried about our accomodation. They told me that they had in fact had an agreement with Tamra for them to provide so many units for Lion but they breached their agreement and so now Lion don't use them anymore. Now i'm left wondering what to do. They said they would email today with alternate accomodation but they haven't. I can't understand why, when they knew they were breaking away from the Tamra, they didn't get in touch and let me know. Was i supposed to just get on my flight and find out when i got there that we had nowhere to go. I was looking forward to a lovely holiday, now i'm so depressed. £3000 is a lot of money to lose. HELP :cry:

Hi, Just as i thought i didn't get that email from Lions. I got my Husband to ring them the next day to find out what was going on. Apparently, we've now been booked in to the Creative Mexicana. I really don't know what to think. They didn't even say whether or not they'd send out a letter of confirmation. My Husband seems to think everything will turn out ok, but i can't help thinking we're going to be let down big time!!!

Has anyone got any thoughts on this???

it seems to me that for the hundreds of bad replies on here there is only a few good ones to back it up, i personally think that lions resort have sniffed this site out and have got their reps to post positive things on here to confuse us even more.
The reason i say this is because im going through what everybody else is and am having nothing but trouble with lions resorts. we joined last april with the promise of good things to come, we said yes and started paying per month the outstanding balance owed, they made sure i did with letters and phone calls to remind me. fast forward to present day and im trying to book my "free holiday" but wait theres a problem, they have moved hotels and also there fully booked!! the hotel they have moved to is a rockets journeys length away from the beach and looks about as interesting as a YMCA, we were told by the rep on the phone that we should of booked a year in advance, but a year ago i was told we can only book once the money is paid up. confused.com i definatley am.

now if i am as somebody said on here "unable to work it out properly" then ill eat my own shoes, but looking at the evidence i think the majority of people on here are just as frustrated and misled as i am.
so whats really going on, is it a con? is it a timeshare shambles? is it just a group of people making money out of selling holidays to egypt and cyprus who knows because i don't.
anyone got any advice for me as to where i stand legally? can i get my money back after a year. im certainly not going to roll over and take the crap second rate hotel they have offered.

I am not sure if a con, but I have stopped our payments half way through, after reading the comments on this site & trying to book our "Free holiday", as it turns out we were mis-sold it. I am not prepared to throw away any more money on Lion resorts as you can get good package deal for nearly the same price as flights, meals etc.

Apparently, my husbands bank manager uses Time Share Holidays and has had no problems with them. He has in fact enjoyed holidays he's booked through them, or so he tells my husband. Wish i could get hold of him for a chat but i can't. I suppose because we're fully paid up with Lion Resorts, and holiday booked, (supposedly free for 2 weeks) flights booked, we'll just have to go along with it and see what comes of it. Known my luck, we'll probably end up sleeping on the beach :roll:

I really wish we hadn't done it. Too late now i know, but what can we do. Is it worth trying to get our money back?!! It's been fully paid up since October 08 so don't think we'll stand much chance. £3ooo a lot of money for nowt. I'm worried sick but husband keeps saying i'm worrying for nowt, so hope he's right and i'm wrong this time but i doubt it.... :roll:

We have just come home from Cyprus,rather concerned re-posts on site
as we have signed up 3 years thought it was good deal.
havent recieved pack yet only arrived home wed 25th Feb,
Like everyone else felt sorry for young english girl earning a living
agreed to go so she would get her 50 euros.
SURELY WE ARE NOT ALL STUPID ?
