Hansard did not cold call me - We first went through Solbookers who said that t
they had a buyer but turned out that they wanted us to sign over our time share
to them and wait 5 years to get our money and that is if we remember to call
them to collect it. Ihoc said that we were passed onto them from Sol bookers
and they have said that they have had a firm offer from Hansard. We have to go to their office in England to sign papers - they are charging us £90
Do anyone know if this is legit

From your sentence "We have to go to their office in England to sign papers" does this mean you do not live in England so, apart from £90 mentioned, you also have to pay flight and accommodation costs!

We live in Wales - Their office is in East Sussex
so there is no flight or accommodation required as
it is only about 2 1/2 hrs away

Still five hours of petrol plus wear and tear on your vehicle and your own precious time.

It's a con. Keep repeating - it's a con - it's a con until you get the message.

Hi there ,we too have cold called by IHOC, with a firm offer for our CLC Points. We have to fly to Malaga face to face meeting, they stress it is a "no fee upfront" etc., and all costs to ourselves upto £500 will be refunded on completion of sale. Will be VERY interested to know the outcome of your sale bspshirley, it rather determines whether we go or not!! any other information or other peoples experiences with IHOC would be VERY gratefully received!

We originally went to Malaga with Solbookers but did not sell as they want you to hand over deeds and they will pay you out in 5 years time (that is if you send them £90.00 each year for the 5 years till they pay out - If you forget to pay by the date given you will loose your money. It is up to you to chase them.
They will not allow you to set up a Direct Debt, they will only accept a cheque.
This way they can delay paying it into the bank by the due date which will then
loose you your money.
We refused to do this and therefore, lost our money for the flights and accomodation.
When Ihoc called they said Solbookers pasted us on to them, we told them that we
had already been caught and was not prepared to be caught again.
We told them that we were not prepared to go to Malaga so they arranged for us
to go to their office in Surrey (No flights or accomodation required).
This time it will only cost £90
We are going to visit them but if this turns out to be a scam then we will
not bother again.
I will keep you upto date when we have visited them.

Just to let you know that it turned out to be a scam only this time we didnt part with any money as we refused to go to spain.
The company IHOC told us that this Company had made an offer to buy our
time share Hansard World Wide who are also associated with Harlequin Properties
It turns out that IHOC only told them that we were wanted to sell our time share
so they told IHOC to send us to them (No monies was mentioned).
When we got there they were only interested in trying to sell us property which
meant they wanted us to tie ourselves into a £130k mortgage.
According to them our time share was only worth around £1200 as everybody is
desperate to sell.
They were quiet annoyed when we told them that we were not desperate to sell and
that we were quiet happy to keep the time share going. They then tried to bombard us with the increase in rental. They didnt like it when we said that we
weren't too bothered with the increases and that we would keep it until we got what we want for it - whether it took 1 year or 6 years.
Eventually they showed us the door.
I reckon that anyone offering to buy your timeshare should pay us a deposit to
hold it for them and they should come to us not us having to go to them. Also,
we could then get our own solicitors to sit in on the meeting.
So for the time being we will carry on using our time share and get plenty of
holidays out of it.
