Does anyone out there have any information about The Gift Company?
They have contacted me recently offering me bonus weeks holidays worldwide. I can purchase three weeks for 299 that can be used anytime in the next three years. If buying before Christmas there is also a free cruise and stay holiday.
Is this genuine?

Hi
Gift company is how we got to Miraflores and into the 7 hour presentation etc etc...my account of what happened is on the site under FVN.
I wonder who we would have met if we had gone to another resort as we could choose from many places but had not been to Spain before!
We still have two weeks left but I do not fell we will be using them!!
We stayed in fair accommodation at Miraflores and the weather was good and that is all that was good about the holiday.....
If you own time shares rememeber that this is not bonus weeks attached to your time share...they only call them that to fool you.
If you have read the threads on here and you feel that after a long presentation and all the lies and mis representations etc you can still say NO then go for it but personally I would advise you not to touch them with a barge pole.....
Go to your local travel agents and take a last minute break and know you do not have to attend a presentation and do not be tempted by scratch card people or anybody but just enjoy a holiday free from the scammers.

All these are from the same stable and all intent on sending you to a hard-sell promotion because that is how they make their money - so much per punter delivered. Large amount of information on Timesharetalk, such as this about bonusweekbreaks - see the post dated 28 Oct.
www.timesharetalk.co.uk/forum/topic.asp ... eek+breaks
Easyconsulting SL
www.bonusweekbreaks.co.uk
Beautiful Holidays SL trading as www.giftcomp.com
www.pointsclub.co.uk which seems to be inactive
www.easyweeks.co.uk which states Easy Weeks Services and Products will now be taken care of by The Gift Company.
and there are probably others.
Comment on other sites about poor organisation, not getting the standard of accommodation promised and sometimes not getting the holiday. Very, very persistent.

The Gift Company
I had a horrible sinking feeling when I read the reviews.
I purchased two weeks back in september from easyweeks.co.uk and have just been trying to book them.
the link took me to 'the Gift Company' where thre was scant information about who they are other than being owned by 'Beautiful Holidays' who apparently specialise in cosmetic surgery holidays!!
I am waiting for someone to phone me back but I think we've been scammed - any suggestions? DH

DSH - these guys are scammers. My mother was called on the pretense that they were her timeshare company selling extra weeks. It was only after she paid via Credit card that the statement came back with a company in Benidorm. Numerous e-mails and phone calls revealed tat these guys were not who they claimed to be. CC company were contacted and all monies recovered. Dont let it happen to you. Be warned!!!

Hello - just after I added to this thread talking about easyweeks (now defunct) and how the easyweeks web site now links to the gift co I had a call from said gift company.
'Benjamin' offered me (at the knock-down price of 299) 6 weeks holiday at one of their many top notch resorts etc etc as the gift company had now bought out easyweeks and this was the price of upgrading to their package.
having been scammed for 360 I don't intend to throw good money after bad. they really are dodgy but unfortunately most people won't find out about it until it is too late and they have parted with their hard earned cash.
the bit that made me laugh (a bit manically) was when he said that they insist on people paying by mastercard or visa as it offers the best protection!

The Gift Company
The Gift Company have taken over Easy weeks. I paid for a holiday for all my family at a resort in the UK for August 2008 through Easy weeks. They canceled the booking 'because it was no longer available'. I asked for my money back, which they agreed to do. I rang numerous times and they always said 'yes' but he money was not refunded.
I have tried to get it back through the Credit card Company, but they say they can't. I rang The Gift Company but they said it wasn't them that took the money! Very clever, just keep changing the name. They are all linked to Sunterra alias Interval International alias The Grand Vacation Club and many more I suspect. Once they've got your money that's all they care about

Gullible - they are not linked to Diamond (which is what Sunterra has become) in any sense of co-ownership - they are fly/ buy operators. If you look at my post above you will see the various names. You may get your money back if you keep at them. They are notoriously disorganised.
Why will your credit card company not refund?

The Gift Company
Just had yet another call from Gift Compnay offering me a new promotion with a cruise.
Accommodation in 5* Gold Crown, 2 weeks for 299 to use inthe next 3 years and also a free Cruise and 7 days land accommodation.
The cruise is part of VIP said Steve.........
Would not have to attend any presentations only a Champaine super on the cruise and a short meeting to advise about Hairdresser, restaurants etc etc ....!!!!!!! who is he kidding.........!!!
I let Steve tell me all about it and then advised that I had aready purchased three weeks and not got the 5*star promised in Miraflores and had to sit through a Holiday presentation. (my account of what happened there is on FVN post and above on this post)
He said how surprised he was to hear of this as he assurred me that it was exactly as he said and there was no selling involved as I was picked to have this promotion.
For a single moment I found myself thinking can this be for real......I can not believe after all the trouble I have had with FVN that my mind could think like that..... but being an honest person I can not image scamming people and so I forget that I can be scammed !!!!!!
I told him where to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
