Sunnysideup - this is a serious forum. People are quite likely to be misled by these people without that kind of post. In addition we know that some of these companies post misleading information themselves. Not funny. Please don't do it.

I have been contacted by a firm calling them selves Grecian Marketing, the only thing I can find about this company are those listed under this site. Like you I am suspicious. Why would somebody want to pay the market value when they could get direct from the original source. At what point do you hand over your deeds, they are not going to wait until there cheque clears are they??
It would be good to hear of first hand knowledge one way or another.
Is it worth contacting Office of Fair Trading?

Grecian is part of a very well known scam based around Brendon House, Matford Park, Exeter. One of many trading names. Your logic is faultless.

Were you called by Jeeves Lifestyle?

Sorry -didn't read it properly. You were called by Grecian themselves. No matter - scam holds good.

Being persuaded to buy either a holiday club membership or holiday points, neither of which you want, at the Devon presentation. Signing up to the "free" holiday commits you to attending a further and seriously mind-bending presentation while away. That's the catch. There always is one.

I had the same phonecall and am supposed to be going to a meeting in Exeter today. I couldn't see a catch but my boyfriend still wouldn't let me go!!!! She rang again yesterday to confirm if we were gonig and I asked lots of questions. Apparently you don't sign up to anything, you don't have to go to any meetings while on the holiday and they won't contact you when you get back. I asked about what i had seen on this website, that they are related to timeshare, etc, and she said they do buy out from people who already have timeshare but that is not linked to the holiday offer. Also you don't part with any money at the meeting in Exeter, so I really don't know???

Good luck and let us know what you do.

Has anyone actually been to see these people yet? Someone must have been and must know what goes on when you get there.

Help. I am supposed to pay a visit to Exeter on Sunday 10th Feb. Like you, I think it all sounds too good to be true. Has anyone paid a visit to Travelexe at Exeter yet?

I have checked with Companies House and the only Travelexe Limited I can find has a registered office in Wimpole Street, London and started on 4th September 2007. Like Jeeves Lifestyle Ltd, they have only just come into existence and neither have had to file accounts.

If no-one can provide any positive information I think I will save myself the diesel and stay at home.
