Timeshare Resolved's website, www.timeshareresolved.com, it is of very recent creation: April 2008.
Timeshare Resolved has been advertising its services on Google UK. They have been using the services of a SEO expert, working from Exeter, Devon, England, the very same who registered the domain name.
Timeshare Resolved arranges appointments at 4, Silverdown Office Park, Fairoak Close, Clyst Honiton, Near Exeter, England EX5 2UX. Everybody is aware of bogus resale firms operating from this part of England.
There is a copyright on the website content, indicating 2006, as the year when this legal right begins, when we know that this site is of very recent creation, April 2008. Additionally, this resale firm is not registered at the Companies House.
And now, "eyesopenwide" says that Timeshare Resolved put me in touch with Travelwest Limited
A number of irregularities regarding Timeshare Resolved that makes to doubt seriously about its business practices.
Travel EXE or Jeeves Lifestyle Ltd
Timeshareresolved was registered by the man who designed the Buena Viva and Screenbeach sites - and others - for the Devon scammers and appears to have been a personal frien of some of them.
The site is therefore quite definitely suspect.

I am trying to find a way to sell my timeshare. I found timeshareresolved.com via Google and have been in contact with them. They have told me about Travelwest in Exeter and guaranteed me 45% of what I paid for my timeshare. Thanks to the posts here, I will not be following up on it. However, nowhere has anyone given any advice on how best to sell a timeshare. Can anyone help please?

I didn't know that they were still at it.
Don't respond to ads - there is one series which promises £50 to turn up. That is Incentive Leisure Group. Don't go near ETOO or ITRA and quite definitely do not deal with anyone who cold calls you, however good they make it sound.
Check at timeshare.org.uk and at ote-info.com for reputable resellers.

I bought my timeshare in Menorca in 1989 because I wanted to. I was not talked into it nor was there any hard selling. My parents had bought and I liked the idea. I own 2 wks as do my parents. The maintenance fee then was £70 per week and the exchange fee £42. Acceptable I think, I have been to Hawaii 4 times for 2 wks, 3 wks, 5 wks and 6 wks so no complaints there. I have also done Florida 5 times also for up to 6 wks in one go. I have exchanged to the Canarys, portugal and a few other places and again no complaint. However, it has now got to the stage where this year my MF costs £954 for the 2 wks for my 1 bdr and as my father died I am paying my mother's MF too which is a 2 bdr at £1200. This is of course unaceptable and it has gone up since Diamond Resorts took over + the fact that Interval I has its price and the exchange fee is now £150 going up by £5 every year. We were contacted by Runways plc and went down to Exeter to sell, so we thought but of course it was the Club Class Concierge thing. The only reason for getting rid is so I dont have to pay the MF anymore. I have a place in the sun so do not have time anymore to use the TS. I dont care if I dont get the money they say from Cashback. Surely in the long run even paying the £10,000 to CCC would I not be saving. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

How would you bve saving? You are swapping your timeshare for another one.
No-one wants them for the same reason as you. It is a con.

Yes I would be joining another club but it is only for 3 yrs. Yes it cost £10000 but I dont have any maitenenace fee to pay anymore. At least that is what they have said. I am happy with that. I had 20 yrs of timeshare with good exchanges, my family and friends have used it and now it doesnt matter if I dont get anything for it. The £10,000 equates to 5 yrs of maintenance fee and nobody says you have to use CCC. In fact they had said alot of people use them just to get out of the maintenance fee.

Hi suzie0312
£10,000 for 3 years of holidays sounds a lot but I suppose depends on how many persons are travelling each year and what cost your air flight is but maybe you can holiday in UK and just have petrol cost. I would make sure that the maintenance is actually paid by these people and that you are not left with this ongoing bill once you have given them your ownership certificates. Scammers seems to have a good way of putting things which means they always win and the seller will miss out. You have enjoyed 20 years of holiday exchanges so I imagine you have had extremely good value from your original purchase price so why not just tell your Menorca timeshare people that you will not be paying further maintenances and that they can keep your time!! No more maintenance bills for you and you have disposed of your time. Alternatively many resorts rent out apartments so do they? If so why not rent and cover your m. cost? Presumably the timeshare owners voted at the AGM's for the annual increase to go ahead so that the apartments could be kept up-to-date and up to expected standard. However, no matter what others say in the end the decision is entirely yours so happy decision-making.
