Sadly only the deposite was paid by credit card the rest was done on bank transfer, via a bank loan.

OK...the next Question is.......Did you declare when taking that loan
what you intended spending the money on...ie Holiday Ownership loan..
OR was it simply an amount of Money..??

I am pleased to say that i was in contact with the Time Share Consumer association today and it would transpire that since the deposite was paid by credit card, they, by entering into the transaction now share liability should a breach of contract occure. Hence by failing to produce the goods purchaced within the timescale stated (eg a certificate of membership to what you bought into) they are now liable. So in the case of a breach of contract they should refund the entire amount paid not just what was paid by credit card.
I was also advised tha they should be reported to the apropreate trade body. this should lead to some kind of sanction on their operation, sertanly bring the spotlight on their dishonest dealings.

Ah yes Pascal. She has emailed us to say that they 'accept' our termination of contract outside of the deadline!! nice considering we didn't receive the paperwork til way after the deadline was over. I think our mentioning contacting the Timeshare Association and a time share solicitor in Birmingham 'helped' them to accept it.

She has informed me that my deposit was with Holiday Solutions and that we signed knowing there was no refund!! - no where did I see that name in anything I was shown or signed, I can only imagine it was the pages that they told me didn't concern me as I wasn't taking a loan out with them.

Sneaky so and so's doesn't even begin to cover how I feel. Especially as it was a debit card transaction. Ah well, an expensive lesson learnt. I do hope that they all come a cropper and soon.

santiagoiv, it may be worth contacting UK European Consumer Centre about this.
UK ECC
Trading Standards Institute
1 Sylvan Court
Sylvan Way
Southfields Business Park
Basildon, SS15 6TH
Tel: 08456 04 05 03
E-mail: ecc@tsi.org.uk
Web: www.ukecc.net

We have already contacted them with full details of the misrepresentation & lies that we were told about the 'Holiday Solutions' document and they have written back to say they want copies of all paperwork so that they can share the case with their European counterparts in Belgium.
Good luck

Hi there, we have also found out that we have lost 1,600 pounds with this company. I am a customer at Natwest and I am currently trying to get my money back through them, as we paid by debit card. Natwest fraud team are taking up the matter to try and reclaim and I have also contacted the European Commisionary Service to see if they can help. Please be aware that they appear to be an entirley professional company and are seemingly preying on vulnerable, hardworking and unsuspecting people like ourselves.
