We have tried to contact them, and cannot get any management to call back, we have sent an email demanding a full refund.... but we are not hopful, the thing is they have our card details and my email address and I'm very scared as to what they may do next, should we change everything?? can anyone help??

As they have taken the money without authority and it seems that they could therefore do it again I would be inclined to get your card changed but take advice from the card company. Tell your card company that there has been a further charge, made without your authority, and that you require them to get the money back.

yeah see i wud jst like to clear this thing up...
http://www.makemyholidays.net - dat company is real! the reason..i kinda work for em!
now im nt defendin it bcoz im an employee there-bt becoz ive personally met up wit the person who runs the company. But i did spot a little problem with the plan that u were recommended. its P79.97 for a weeks stay..not 2! dats basically 7 nights and 8 days to overseas destinations and 3 nights and 4 days within the UK itself!
oh and the company itself is basically an australian company bt it has a branch opened in the UK too..
u can basically reach the company @ United Kingdom Address
Postal Address:
Make My Holidays
58-60 Kensington Church Street
London - W8 4DB

Customer Service Operating Hours
Monday - Friday: 12 PM to 8 PM (GMT)

or better yet...jst visit us!
oh and one other thing...sweetpea..P159 is the price of 2 vouchers and u get 2 free as well. u might have been misled on that one by the agent bt nt on part of the company-my apologies on that one!
hope it helps...

This company has been harrassing me every day since Monday. They are ringing once or twice a day and it is the same man of obvious Asian origin. I have told them I am not interested, they ang twice yesterday and then tonight when they ring I said "You have rang me every day and I am not interested". And he replied, "you are not Mrs ****, you are her daughter". Usually I would take this as a compliment but I am Angry and told him where to go. I have a sick child at home who has just had a major operation who only came out of Hospital on Saturday and I have to deal with these stupid, desperate companies harrassing me. There must be some law against this?

Tell them that you're registered with the Telephone Preference Service

http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/what/

And then actually register. I did a few years ago and rarely get any phone calls that I dont want.

In my opinion and judging by the literacy of the post by the company I would really steer clear of this one.
In MY opinion for what its worth

To say nothing of the condition that requires that you - "must participate in a fun filled information tour of the resort lasting a minimum of 90 minutes during their stay." A 'fun filled' brainwashing perhaps?

I've just had a phone call out of the blue from a very foreign gentleman claiming he works for this company. I couldn't understand much of what he was saying but after a lot of repetition gathered he was offering me a holiday anywhere in the world for £79 for up to 4 people! I'm of the opinion that nothing is EVER that cheap - I'm glad I read other people's comments. I don't like cold calls and wouldn't touch this lot with a barge pole either!

HI

I sign up with this company 2 months ago and as per their commitment i got my package with 2 vouchers in 10 days.....I read some of the replies on the internet that they charged 159 pounds extra but i realized that they do so only when u authorize them to send you the platinum package with 8 vouchers......Even they asked me as well but i denied for the same and asked for only 2 vouchers....and i checked with bank and everything was alright.....so my experience with company was Good......All u need to take care abt is listen carefully what they are talking and make sure u don't say yes for anything without understanding......

Best of Luck Make my Holidays....
