Anyone thinking of joining club la costa - think again! This company is totally unprofessional. We originally signed with them and then on reading the information found that several things we had been told were untrue and misleading. We cancelled the agreement and were given a week’s holiday to try out the company. We were told that as teachers we would get priority for school holidays. We were also promised that we would be going to Tenerife and choose dates according to their climate. We paid a deposit of £60 'promotional' fee. As the dates needed to be so far apart, the spread was almost over a year. You are not told when the holiday is until 60 days before, which has caused us endless problems organising our own holidays in advance.

Almost a year later they have now informed us that we have our last date (not school holidays) not in Tenerife and possibly from an airport outside our county!!

Exclusive Lifestyle Passports (the holiday company they use) would not discuss it and referred me to C la C. They were very rude and refused to believe that we were assured that "Tenerife would not be a problem from Manchester." I was repeatedly told by this company to 'read the terms and conditions'.

My advice in any dealings with this company is to be very wary - their customer service is virtually none existent and do not believe everything you are told. In my opinion there are far better holiday companies around.

Wendyloo - there are very mixed opinions about CLC, some from actual members. There are also several existing threads - and your message would have been better on one of those as part of the discussion.

This is my first time that i have ever written on this site.
To all the other poor people who bought a holiday club package from Freedom Vacations,and timelinx.This you should read carefully.

We are here on holiday in tenerife my husband and i and we have just been to the offices where Freedom Vacation sold us our holiday club pack,located in los cristianos in the commercial center next to the sunday market,Guess What they are not there all their offices are CLOSED DOWN, we asked around and no one seems to know where they are so we decided to go to the police station and they send us to the consumer office of fair trading where we spoke to a lady and she confirmed to us that Freedom Vacations have had hundreds of complaints and many families have placed DENUNCIAS against this company and its ASOCIATES,Also we found out that they were trading under several names,HOLIDAYWARE HOUSE,FREEDOM VACATION NETWORK,EMPORIUM SL,and that the LOCAL AUTHORITIES ARE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING THEM,and over the last six month they were CLOSED DOWN by THE NATIONAL POLICE AND LOCAL POLICE more than once.

So we also placed a denuncia as we paid 10,820 pounds to Freedom Vacation NetWork under the pretence that we going to get cheap flights and descount holidays for our family and friends,and most important to us they promised that the reclaim company was going to give us our money back in full after five years if we invested with Freedom Vacation NetWork and its Asociates,but we since found out that IT IS A SCAM as Freedom Vacation NetWork did not pay a premium to reclaim so we have lost that as well,we did not even get our reclaim certificate that we were promised,we have written to them and even spoke with timelinx and they just say that reclaim is nothing to do with us we just book holidays.

Well thats a laugh as Freedom Vacation NetWork say on the website that they have thousands of holidays available WELL THATS A LIE BECAUSE YOU CANT GO ON HOLIDAY WITH FREDDOM VACATION NETWORK,because Timelinx book the holidays but when you ask Freedom Vacation NetWork or Timelinx for the free accomadation and the two return flights to australia that we were promised on the day we bought this holiday package from Freedom Vacations NetWork and Timelinx they just say sorry its not available now or Timelinx fob you off with an excuse and blame Freedom Vacation IT IS ALL LIES,as Freedom Vacation are no longer there,also we have three bonus week holidays including to return flights any where in europe we would like to give one of these to our handycapped daughter who is in a wheelchair as she has M.S . We only bought this holiday package so that we could get some luxury holidays for our daughter and family.

My husband this year has had a stroke he was quiet bad he was in intensive care for one week,thanks god he has improved over the last four months with therapy he is just starting to walk and talk again but he needs a stick to help him to get around.We called home on wednesday to see how our daughter was and the first thing she told us was that there has been a letter from FREEDOM VACATION NETWORK -TIMELINX asking for the annual 125 pounds service charges for our membership and that they were due to be paid as they have sent a reminder,NOW the first thing goes threw my mind is how does this company FREEDOM VACATION NETWORK,AND THE TIMELINX excpect two old age pensioners to LOOSE 10,820 pounds ,GET NO HOLIDAYS ,NO MONEY BACK IN 5 YEARS FROM RECLAIM CASHBACK,ABSOLUTLY NOTHING,now come on we are stupid old people and there sales tactics got us but there is no way we are going to pay a 125 pounds per year for the next 48 years,and our daughter and family will not be paying this either,as that adds up to 6,000 POUNDS ,this money will go to give us proper geniune holidays.

WELL WE ARE DISCUSTED WITH FREEDOM VACATION NETWORK,TIMELINX AND RECLAIM AND THERE SCAM TACTICS AND ROBBING OLD PEOPLE OF THEIR MONEY AND SAVINGS,we wrote this letter to let you all know the way we feel and all the other poor families that did the same as us.

We will PERSUE Freedom Vacations and all its asociates companies and we are not going to let them get away with what they have done to us and our family,WE HAVE TAKEN LEGAL ACTION.

Just a note we also checked out the website for freedom and thats full of lies saying that they have thousands to millions on holidays available at any time,as Freedom Vacations DO NOT BOOK HOLIDAYS,TIMELINX THINK THEY DO and there offices are in spain,and thats another laugh as most of the holidays that are available are Timeshare presentation holidays,where you will be guaranteed to get somebody banging on your door to invite you to a presentation and they will try to scam you again just like Etoo with there resale promises,and club class.

i have just been contacted by someone who as said i have been "rewarded" a 7 night breakaway to spain portugal or tennariff i was then told to ring this number 08009889904 quoting a ref number the company was called club la costa
i have been reading somethings about this company on the web it dont sound to good could anyone help me with my holiday dilema
