Try Mayflower Apartments in Tingaki, Kos (Greece). They are really clean, and the welcome is very warm. Went there last year, loved it, and promptly rebooked on return to the U.K. for this year. Only fault (if you can call it that) is its quite a long walk to the beach and town centre so not suitable for the lazier element unless you hire a car. Pool excellent, snack bar open all day, bar open very late. Can get windy in late summer. Currently operated by Thomson holidays. Well worth it!
