| Hi just wondering if anyone has ever used this firm before ?
Looking at a two week holiday in Cyprus they are working out @ £500 cheaper than First Choice. I know you have to add the flights on as well, even though it's still £500 cheaper.:thumleft:

| Hi - THis company sells holiday memberships. THe cost is about $25,000 US for a 42 year membership, plus a ~ $450 US yearly maintenance fee. YOu get a week free accomodation in any of their 256 (?) 3/4/5-star 'resorts' worldwide. FOr an extra $89 you can use one of the 2000+ affiliated resorts. YOu can buy extra weeks, you can sell the membership, will it, share it, etc. It sounds ok, but I'm still a bit skeptical. I'd like to hear from people who've joined... And of course, it only works for those who have such a bundle of cash up front. We went through a 4hr sales pitch and were asked to sign now or leave the building (we left).

| We were also lured into one of their talks which we were told would only last 20 min - 5 hrs later we signed up in the heat of themoment. We are looking to get out of the contract as there are some discrepancies which we did not observe at the time. When one is on holiday, tired and in a more relaxed mood it is easy to be taken advantage of. I would caution people about signing up straight away. Do give it some time even though they urge to have the "deal" signed ASAP.

We have used this company twice and have also recomended it to friends. They gave us a really good deal satying at the four seasons hotel. The flight was good and the private taxi was really nice.

| Hi I am not sure about the contracts.
We have just returned from Cyprus after booking through Absolute Holidays.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM or any other company they are linked to.
When arriving in resort we were shown to the incorrect room. We were advised that the hotel was fully booked and we couldn't move to the correct room for 2 nights.
We met our rep the following day, she was not from Absolute Holidays but from another company that worked on their behalf.
She explained to us that what happened alot of time in peak season was that the hotels prioritised all rooms to the large tour operators and even though we booked 10 months before we went on holiday they couldn't guarantee our room.
We were not the only people that had problems with Absoulte Holidays. We spoke to a family whilst we were in resort and their room had also been given to someone else. Because of the time of year all hotels were fully booked and the family had to accept 2 rooms in different hotels for their entire holiday. These hotels were at least a 20 minute walk away from each other.
On the day of departure, Saturday 2nd August, we were informed by our rep that our prepaid taxi transfer was unavailable and we had to arrange and pay for our own transfer to the airport. We had already paid £45 for this and it cost us a further 60 Euros for the taxi.
The rep could not help us because they have been advised that Absoulte Holidays have now gone bust.
This is very worrying as I have been on their website today and as far as I can see they are still taking online bookings.
We were lucky that we had some money left to pay for the taxi, otherwise we would have been stranded in resort.
I have definately learnt my lesson and will be travelling with major tour operators only in furture.
