We booked flight and 4 star All Inclusive accomodation with Jetline Travel to Tenerife in November 2006. We asked about transfers and was told not worth it as transfers from the airport was about 10 euros when we arived at the airport we discovered that most taxi drivers said that they had never heard of the hotel one said that he thought that this hotel was in the North of the Island and would cost 90-110 euros. After 3 hours wait plus travel time we eventually at the Interpalace Hotel after midnight we were told that Jetline travel had made any reservations basically basically because the Interpalace Hotel was Full and suggested we try and find somewhere for the night and contact Jetline Travel the next day. Reception found a room @ 90 euros bed breakfast made our way there checked in and then hunted around the Town for somewhere to eat and drink wth a view to claiming the amount back from Jetline travel because of the delay we would of arrived at this hotel 8.30-9.30pm. Next day we rang Jetline travel and explained our situation and was abruptly told that it was only 8.30am there ring back later. Rang back half hour later told manager was busy with a customer promised to ring back as soon as he finished,an hour later no response from Jetline Travel and rang them for a third time via my mobile told reservation order had been faxed direct to the Interpalace hotel so we travelled back to Interpalace they confirmed no such reservation and pointless as the hotel was FULL anyway. Waited an hour for reservation which never arrived rang back spoke to manager who was clueless assured me resevation had been made, asked him to fax hotel with confirmation which once again never arrived 4 hours later now late afternoon no word from Jetline travel WE were forced to ring them again more assurances that fax to hotel had been sent put reception onto phone to inform them pointless NO ROOM they said that they could not understand him We curiously had no problem. Hours later we were told to pack our bags as the room was only paid until 12 noon. Phone them again incidently Jetline Travel despite promises never ever rang us back. They moved us to another hotel another taxi ride and remained there for the remaining weeks holiday. Jetline Travel have resisted responding and after 4 letters they said that they were not responsible it's there agents abroad TIP Do NOT book a holiday with this company they don't give a damn about there customers and to add insult to injury arrived home to find holiday deails flights and note with accomodation to commence 3 days after the flight drops you at resort, clearly Jetline Travel are CLUELESS.

Are they ABTA or ATOL bonded if so you may be able to complain about them. There is a travel law solicitor called Ros fernihough who may be able to advise you. Her number is 01922621114. it is worth a call.

and which country have contact
also have a incoming travel agency
im sure from the incoming agency that your problem
we also have been work jetline company went all well in turkey
first speak your company manager

After reading the above review can only agree that we have experienced many problems with this company, after a holiday from hell in sept/oct 2007 we are still trying to get jetline to make proper contact and read our letters of complaint correctly. Have had to make phone calls to them and never get an email response either, customer services has jetline heard of them?

Tried to book a holiday with Jetline tonight via a deal we saw on the teletext website. The rep on the phone phoned me back three times at 22.30 approx after we refused to book a holiday with him when the price he quoted kept totting up and up.
Decided to email to complain about this guys behaviour so I Googled them and came across Uptown Bob's review. I thank my lucky stars my partner and I are also sales reps and so untrusting of people cos we could have been properly stitched up.
Below I have copied and pasted my complaint email for you to see the full story and I hope other people will be wise to this company.

When the operator kept totting the price up for transfers etc I said I'd like to think about it. Straight away he told me he could do serval things for free. I and my partner are both sales executives and we know the score when negotiating. We don't trust anyone who can drop their prices just like that. I told him serval times we would call back. I wanted to do more research. Your rep was obviously not interested in the customer service and whether the holiday and price was right for us - they just want to get the sale and kept on and on. His persistence and my distress at this, annoyed my partner who grabbed the phone and hung up.
Obviously annoyed at not getting the sale and being hung up on, your rep decided to call my phone three times in a row until I picked up. He did not block his number. The call came from tel no: 02085111640 at time 22.19. I appreciate hanging up can be frustrating for a sales rep but that is my prerogative as it is my money on the phone bill. I do not feel he acted appropriately by calling me back to harass me, have a go at me then hang up. How unprofessional.
Unfortunately for him, we had every intention of calling back after we had checked our finances to make sure we could afford the holiday. We will now not be booking with you.
Please deal with this rep accordingly as this is disgraceful. I recommend re training sessions which I would be happy to run for you. This is one of my roles.
I do expect an apology.

Jetline travel
We are still trying to get our holiday nightmare with jetline travel sorted, last oct I complained to jetline and even though teletext hols are trying to help as communication from jetline is abysmal no compensation up to this point has been made to us. Teletext holidays have been very good at trying to help us so I suggest you contact them with your prob if you booked with jetline through teletext.

Got in touch with Jetline Travel today about a holiday i had seen on the teletext holidays website, spoke to a sales person called 'Maz'
He give me a price of �469 for adults and �289 each for the children.
As we were going as a family of 8, i explainned i had to okay it with everyone first and would ring him back, he was very pushy saying only 9 seats left....
We decided to book it as it was the price we were looking for.
When i phoned him back to book it before giving him my card details i asked him if that was the final price, and nothing else would be ammended or added? He replied yes mam, all in with the price flights, transfers, accomidation and insurance,
I then give my card details, after giving them he then added just to comfirm mam, there will also be a �140 administration fee deducted from your account plus an extra �20 insurance per person???
I immediatley said i wasnt happy as he told me that was the final price, i told him i would have to think about it and speak to my family first as its alot more added on that we was not aware of. He said no problem and to okay it with them and get back to him.
My auntie then phoned for him to explain to her everything.
After then getting off the phone to my auntie we decided not to book as we saw it as false advertisement!!!
When i phoned him back and told him we dont want to go ahead with it sorry, he then told me he had already booked the holiday and the money had been deducted from my account!!!
I was livid and asked to speak to a supervisor as i had not given him permission and we agreed i would get back to him.
He told me my auntie had told him to go ahead and book???
which she firmly denies, i went mad as thats fraud he cant take her permission to take money off my card????
He told me all calls are recorded, so i asked him to play me the phone call when my auntie give him permission, he refused.
I then was transferred to his manager who then offered us �20 discount per person, i refused as i didnt want to deal with them after this, and told him if the money has been taken i will take this further.
They have taken the money from my account in full not at discount price like stated.
I have got in touch and they have told me they will refund me with in 3 working days, if not i will be seeking legal advice and will be taking this further.

Firstly, where has all the customer service gone with some travel companies. I think alot of agents need to be reminded that booking a holiday is not just about making money, these are holidays which some people may have been saving up all year for that precious 2 weeks away. Why has a company got an administration fee for booking with them, its like going to tesco with a basket of shopping and the cashier saying, well i can do it for you if i have to but im charging you �50 for doing so. Doesn't wash with me.
Anyway rant over, for a company that specialises in discount holidays, they aren't that cheap. Have just done 2 searches comparing Jetline Travel and Travel Republic and Jetline have come out �71 more expensive, and why are they charging �92 for transfers when transfers are only �45 - �50max, scandalous.
As all calls are recorded and can be emailed to clients in times of conflict, if the agent was so sure she said she was happy with it, then they would have hapilly sent it to you, because thats what we do, if we are right and the client does not believe this then we will email the call to them for them to listen, mainly happens for name changes when they say that we have spelt it incorrectly when we haven't. And if we are wrong, then we hold our hands up and say.
If they have nothing to hide then they would of sent it to you, takes 2 mins to do.
Anyway, less of my moan but the stories i hear are quite frighteneing sometimes.

I am discusted over this, me and my family have all been saving for a nice 2 week all inclusive holiday this year, the kids were really excited to stay in the didim beach resort hotel which we were promised for the above price. And then all this happened.
As a company they cannot expect to tell a customer one thing and then do the complete opposite.
After speaking to the superior they told me as i had complainned, they cancelled the acomadation but cannot cancel the flights??
... Even though i had not give them permission to book or deduct a 1p from my account!
I am appauled by the way they have treated us,
I have been told i am getting a full refund of the �1026 which has been taken from my bank account and will have the refund on thursday, they were only supposed to be taking �800 deposit, but they added administration fees of �140 (rediculous) and insurance of �20 per person with out even asking me first.
They have been in touch since offering us �70 cash back and a free day access to the local aqua park for the family if we stay in Bodrum instead and instead of a 5* hotel a 3*......
No way! We picked this hotel as a 5* for the all inclusive food so we know what to expect. and the child entertainment in the hotel.
I have contacted tele text holidays and made a complaint aswell.
In future i advise people to stay well clear of jet line travel.... and MAZ

Glad to hear you are getting sorted, let us know if you get your refund, why does it take till thursday to get your cash back when your card can be debited immediately? My problems are still ongoing look at the review I did for Albir gardens it really was as bad if not worse than I described and we have photos plus other evidence to back up my story.
Its not right that peoples hard got cash is handed over for a load of rubbish or in your case by incorrect information, and without authorisation.
