| I think that you will find that Kosmar have pulled out of alot of places. I have friends on the palleponese who have told me that Kosmar are not returning there and customers who have been going there for many years have had the same thing happen to them .Kosmar have not even paid them for 2007 yet. Sorry that i cannot help with any other information .Good Luck

| I've travelled to Greece with Kosmar on many occasions, but I don't have any infornmation as to their present locations. I always found them to be a good reliable company.

| I have used Kosmar for the Majority of my holidays in Greece and have to say that I have not had any problems with them at all, I have noticed that this year they have hiked their prices up and that they no longer have the accomodation listed that I would have liked to have used, which makes me wonder if there is a problem with the Company. A great shame when you had confidence in a Company.

| Thankyou for your comments, we have had good experiences with the company until this year when they pulled the holiday without apology or reason. I have found customer service team to be at best evasive but also quite agressive - they seem to have a problem explaining why they have cancelled holidays and simply refer their T&Cs . (I thought we had left this type of customer care back in the 70s!! )I certainly wouldn't have confidence to book with them again, so if you do go ahead and book Good luck! but be prepared to be let down, apparently booking a holiday with Kosmar doesn't mean it will happen!!

| Kosmar were taken over by Excel and have reduced tremendously the amount of Greek holidays they now offer and as previously posted have really hiked up there prices. After years of using them for lovely quiet Greek escapes we have had to try other operators as their "speciality Greece" is no more

| Booked 2 weeks ago for Naxos (aug) (where we really won't to go) we have used Kosmar a number of times and this year they're prices have gone up 25 percent , not many operators go there so we've no choice , next year it won't be Kosmar-- a pity as they've aways been ok !. our travel agent says they will lose a lot of custom .

| We had trouble with Kosmar a couple of years ago when they moved us without informing us until we arrived in Skiathos. After a long session of exchanging letters and getting nowhere we will never use them again which is a shame as they were once a very good company.

| Hi,
The Customer Relations Manager for Kosmar is Ms Flora Souldhou.
We had problems with Kosmar, took them to court via a Travel Law Solicitor - Ros Fernihough 01922 633214 - and won all our money back.
Long haul but worth it in the end.

| Wow thanks for your guidance, yes I have spoken to Flora and I have to say she is the most agressive and unhelpful customer service manager I have ever spoken to. She categoricary refused to give any explanation as to why our holiday had been cancelled - be warned this is not a company that respects its customers

| Unhappy Kosmar Customer.
When your holiday was cancelled had you just paid a deposit or had you paid in full? Did Kosmar offer you an alternative, and if so was it acceptable to you. I'm asking because if you decided not to accept an alternative with Kosmar and wanted to book with another TO, you will have a huge problem trying to get your deposit back from Kosmar, even though they cancelled the holiday. Basically they take no notice whatsoever of their T & C's.

| We have just returned from Samos after a last minute, allocated on arrival with Kosmar and found their service to be appalling. We have nothing but praise for Samos and its people, but the Kosmar rep we encountered there had no interest in our comfort or whether we were having a good holiday or not. She misled us about company policy, as she put it, regarding us changing accommodation owing to it's lack of suitability and the noise generated by nearby (within 50m) building work which began at 7.30 in the morning, every day of the holiday.
When we asked to move she told us it was not possible, then, the next morning, it was possible if we paid a further 40 euros a night, but the move would be to accommodation where there was aircraft noise. She seemed to relish telling us this. She was aggressive, even shouting at us at one point.
Kosmar tell me today that, in fact, a move is possible if there is accommodation available, subject to a reallocation fee of about £50. So we have no idea who is right, but I had to be my most charming in order to elicit even this information from customer services, otherwise they were extremely evasive.
On arrival at the airport there was no rep to accompany us to the resort. We were given wrong information about where we were staying (ie the name of the hotel - in fact it turned out to be studios) and about how we would be transferred. We were literally dumped at the end of a dusty road to carry our bags to the studios with no idea about buses, taxis, location, shops etc. The map we were given was wrong. Reception was closed. The studios were at the top of a 63 step plus 100m uphill struggle from the beach. There was no where to park a car so we resorted to taxis when we wanted to go out and they refused to take us to the door owing to difficulties in them being able to get out onto the main road again.
I have usually arranged my own travel details - this year because of the good deal I thought I had got from Kosmar I did it differently. I would never do so again.
I note the original complaint in this thread stems from 2007. Be assured, they are no better now. I am really disappointed to write in this way, especially as I know a Cretan apartment owner who is contracted to them and I would not want him to lose business because of them, but truthfully, in thirty years or so of travelling the Med I have never been treated in such a dismissive way. Our holiday was ruined only because of them and their attitude.

| We had several very good holidays with Kosmar. The Excel takeover seems to have had a major impact on their service. After two years when we sufferd flight delays, the first being seventten hours, and a holiday that was, in my opinion, totally misrepresented in the brochure we will never use them again. In fact after our last miserable experience I cancelled a holiday that I had already booked for this year. Yes - I lost the deposit but at least this year we had a great holiday with Oplympic.
