We booked our holiday last July because it was a family one and probably our last together.
We had our flight times sorted and they fitted in with my partners exam in college and her youngest son coming home from school etc.
We couldnt wait................
We got our tickets on monday to find that Thomas Cook had changed the flight times and it made it impossible for my partner to sit her exam and make our flight.
The college wouldnt budge with the exam and gave her a choice the exam or her holiday lol
In the end she moved her exam to december and she will miss her next part of the year.
WHY NO LETTER FROM Thomas Cook telling us about the changes :-(
Next part - Because of the change in flight times I had to rearrange the airport lounge in manchester airport etc.
On doing so I was told that the Thomas Cook lounge had changed its age restrictions in the past few weeks and would not let my partners soon into the lounge, again not even a letter or phone call.
So if our flight hadnt been changed and we had rolled up to the airport lounge as normal we would of got turned away :-(

Anyway I hope all our bad luck is over and bring on Belek in 20 days lol

Prime example of a company being too successful, in the end the customers become a number and customer service goes out the window.

We were thinking of changing an arrival date on a certain park from a Saturday to a Sunday, we informed all of our customers that this may happen, all of them said it was inconvenient because ferries and Euro-tunnels had been booked. We immediately shelved that idea until next year.

We then wrote to the customers thanking them for the feedback and everything is as it was.

Four customer's wrote to us saying how professional and great it was that we reverted back to previous dates and also that we took the time to inform them that nothning had now changed.

The big boys don't care and it's all about the bank balance and keeping the shareholders happy.

I might even turn up to the welcome meeting for once and let my partner rip into the poor rep hahahahahahahaha
