I would like to add my voice to those who say that you should avoid Bookable Holidays at all costs. I had a disastrous holiday with them (for which they also overcharged me, taking more money from my account than the agreed price). Since returning I have phoned, emailed, sent letters - and received absolutely no communication in return, not even an acknowledgement. In desperation I even contacted 'Thomas' who posted on this board. Surprise surprise - no reply.

You can be very lucky and have a straightforward trip with them. But if anything goes wrong they will not want to know, and won't even have the courtesy to respond to your complaints. It is worrying how poorly regulated the holiday industry seems to be, if this is allowed to happen.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.... This was the worst holiday experience in over 20 years. The hotel was awful, just too awful for words (and this despite paying for an upgrade at the time of booking) so I contacted their 'after sales service'... a constant recorded message saying the phones would not be answered until all e-mails had been cleared was all I got daily from over an hour of phonecalls. Four e-mails (two of which were never answered) were replied to with a simple message (we can't help you) (there is nothing we can do). In the end we had to check out of our hotel and find alternative accommodation because it was unbearable.
I have complained as per their policy (sending in the signed/stamped complaint form that they insist on, along with photographs of mould, leaks, buckets catching water in the room etc) in their T/C's but have heard nothing back as yet. I have now put the complaint into ABTA.
I will never ever use this company again and urge everyone I know to avoid them at all costs.
Sometimes things do go wrong on holiday and it's not always about what has gone wrong but the way things are dealt with. You can get over most things if the people/ companies involved at least try to resolve the issue. THIS IS MOST DEFINITELY NOT THE CASE WITH THIS COMPANY. They offer you everything until they have your money but from then on you are on your own.
