Just returned from holiday & booked through Travel Republic for the first time. Booked flights, hotels & transfers & all worked perfectly. Not a single hitch & in fact, the most efficient holiday transfers we've ever had. Hotel not brilliant, but not Travel Republic's fault as they don't actually recommend.

Also had to phone them with a query before we left and had no problems getting through on phone & had question answered promptly.

Would certainly use them again & have already recommended to friends!

Hello,

I would strongly advise everyone against booking anything through Travel Republic as they have taken my money and not delivered my holiday booking.

I have booked a holiday through them, flight and accommodation. Three weeks before the flight I called them to inform them that my tickets have not been delivered. So they promised to re-send me the e-tickets, send me the tickets to my home and have the tickets waiting for me at the airport. Which I thought was very nice of them.

A week later, no e-tickets were sent to me or the real printed tickets. So I called them again. Only to be assured that all is OK and that I will get my tickets.

A day or two before the flight, I called again, to double check about my tickets as nothing has arrived. They told me not to worry as I will have my tickets waiting for me at the airport.

When I got to the airport, no tickets were there and they didn't have any record of me.

So I tried to call Travel Republic, no chance, as they were closed. So I tried to call them on the following day, Saturday. Despite what their site says that they are opened seven days a week, they are not, they only operate Monday to Friday.

Finally when I got to speak to them on Monday I was told to wait 28 days for them to investigate the matter. I did. Called them again only to be told that I would have to wait another 14 days as they got no response from the company that supplies them with the tickets. Finally those 14 days were up. I called them, they hung up on me. Called them again, only to be told that I can't speak to the person who's dealing with my case, two days in the row.

And then at the end they emailed me telling me that I should have rang them as soon as I found out that my tickets weren't there, as they are open until 10PM. Well, my flight was at 11PM and I waited at the both ticket collection desks to find out whats going on. So there was no way that I could get in touch with them.

So now they are saying that they will give me 5% discount off any other holiday that I book through them.

Thats it. Nothing else. No refund, no apology.

We have booked through Travel Republic many times with no problems.

They are definately open seven days a week.

I tried CARDSTUDENT but it did not work but GETSOMESUN did and this promo code got me 5% off our hotel cost.

That they are open 7 days a week is a complete *bull* !

Like I said, tried to ring them on the number advertised in the top right hand corner of their website: 020 8974 7200, during the weekend. All I got is their answer phone telling me that they are open only Mon-Fri.

When I complained that they never sent me my tickets, all they did was to stall me for 6 weeks and then at the end offer me 5% discount with any further purchases.

Which is a complete joke. Why would I book a holiday with them again, if they failed to deliver the first one ?

In the end I got my money back since I paid for the holiday by credit card.

My honest advice is to stay away from them as they treat you like dirt.

We have used Travel Republic to book flights before and have not had any problems until this last time.
Our return flight time was changed and they notified us of this, OK!
Then it was changed again OKish!
Then we received our tickets for original time, NOT OK!
So we phoned them and they gave us a different time altogether!
Then we received another set of tickets for another time! AAAARRGGHH!
Another phone call and a time was confirmed but we took both sets of tickets with us just in case. And guess what? We were left guessing right up till coming home as our transfer agents hadn't got a clue either.
Got home though EVENTUALLY!!!
THANKS TRAVEL REPUBLIC!!!

Have just returned from Ibiza having used Travel Republic for the first time, had no problems whatsoever. I booked flight, hotel and transfers and was very pleased with the result.
I had to call them to confirm some details and had no problem getting through on the phone.
Saved a fair bit of money instead of booking through regular travel agents. Would definately use them again.
