HI i put a thread asking the same thing a few people say they are fine and have booked many times with them but hard to get hold of them on the phone if you need help. im looking at their website for holiday and they are the cheapest i have found. also if you decide to book with them put CARDSTUDENT in the promotional code section you get a nice slice off the final amount.

i booked a holiday through travelrepublic and thought it was a bargain ,2 weeks in paphosin the cypria bay hotel.we wheregoing for my sisters wedding, because it was so cheap,i recomended it to lots of my friend,s also who where going to the wedding also,it was a nightmare from beginning to end,and i would definately not book a holiday with them ever again.i was booked on a british airways flight, and i waited up to 10 days before our holiday for my ticket,s,but they had,nt arrived phoned travel republic said i would recieve in 48 hrs asbritish airways is not a ticketless airlineafter 48 hrs still no tickets rang up said would email me etickets instead, recieved the eticket but just out of curiosityi rang british airways to confirm my flights, gave in the code on my tickets and was told they dont go to paphos from manchester any more and had,nt done so for 6 mths,i was given athe girl,s name and told to contact the people who i booked with as they said it was thier responsibility to let cusomers no when flight details alter and could,nt understand why they had left it this late.as the code on the eticket was referring to their old flight timetable, got intouch with travel republic and spoke to the manager called mark,he said he was,nt aware of any changes and blamed british airways for the mess i was in eventually had to accept 2 no frills tickets i;easyjet with no discount considering i had paid £398 for my original tickets, and when we got to the airport we where overlimit on the weight because we where,nt allowed as much baggage on easyjet.we had no choice but to take these flights as my husband was giving the bride away, and then to top it all when we got to our hotel we where taken to the sister hotel and not the one we where booked into,so we wfhere separated from the whole wedding party for the whole 2 week,s,when we complained to the hotel they said their was nothing they could do as they where fully booked and would have to sort it out when ew got back to the u.k, we paid£1890 for 2 weeks holiday, but we still had to pay an extra £56.00for the extra weight in our cases also ,travel republic should not be allowed to trade on the internet, and abta should investigate all these complaint,s and not let them get away with it.if enough people joined together and got names on a petition who have been mislead by these crap companies it would stop anything further happening to other geniune customer, splease read reviews on holiday watchdog and double check your flight providers to make sure your not hoodwinked like me

i will never use them o recommend to anyone. ever again!

i have been using them for booking hotels. is quick & easy to book online. n get email comfirmation straight away.

this time i booked the entire all inclusive holiday to sharm, egypt for a wk on the 25/9 but bcos of the failure of XL airline. since the 12/9, noone contact me.
i have to wait for long time for someone to answer my phone. n non of them know what to do...the only thing they can say is they also waiting for the flight provider [libra holiday] to get back to them.
i have to find out myself from libra holiday. until today, 2 more days to my holiday. i called libra holiday & they comfirmed my flight cancelled as not found an alternative airline & refund has been make to travel republic. n asked me to contact them instead.
so i did twice today & they still saying the same thing, they are waiting for libra holiday. n promised to get back to me today. well, i'm still waiting...
do u think they will call me for an answer tomorrow morning?

pls some one advise me what to do. my flight is protected by ATOL but travel republic said i won't get refund on my hotel & transfer. no further information they can provide me. i'm lost here ===
