Just a quick few words to thank everyone for a great holiday. We found the service to be excellent right down to the finest detail. Our local rep Susanne was extremely helpful to us and ensured the villa was in immaculate condition. We were all very impressed.
We will have no hesitation in recommending you in the future and will hopefully be back again ourselves soon.

Thank you for setting my mind at rest. Our group of 6 (inc 2 teenagers) have just booked with Villa plus & I, of course, was worry about booking with an unknown online company.
Glad to hear you had a great holiday & if they live up to your recommendation I will be back to add my own.

I am in the process of booking with Villa Plus but i am surprised by their request for me to ring them to sort out payment. I would have expected them to ring me. Can anyone tell me if they experienced the same? and if the company is legitimate? thanks

We have been on holiday 3 times with villa plus in the last 3 years and have never been dissappointed. We can confirm that they are a ligitmate company. With regards to having to telephone them to make a payment, it is our opinion that it is more convenient for us to phone them rather than wait for them to contact you. Also it is easy to confirm with someone on the telephone than on a websit. Enjoy your holiday, and we are in the process of booking our 4th holiday for October.

We have had many lovely holidays over the past 10 years with Villa Plus. Mostly in the Algarve but also in Costa del Sol. Always found them very efficient and villas very clean and comfortable. Home from Home actually. Reps. have always been very helpful especially the one we normally have in the Algarve. Have just booked again for next year.

Hi - bit concerned about booking an online company that are unknown. Does anybody know whether the ATOL covers you if you just book the villa through them? I have found the ATOL FAQ@s a bit confusing? Also concerned that the website as not been working for the last day ? _ Help!

I would like to add my recommendation also. We had a absolutely fantastic holiday in Calpe. The villa was wonderful; clean, well equipped and spacious and the welcome pack had everything we needed to avoid having to rush to the shops, including a lovely bottle of wine. My teenagers (& their grandfather) particularly liked the pool table & table-tennis table.
The service was all you could ask for from start to finish.
We will definitely be back soon and have already recommended villaplus to several friends.

Villa Plus have been going for 21 years, so even though they are not a major name, they are extreamly reputable company. You wont have any problems with them.

this in reply to pb's comments. We have just returned from a two week holiday from hell with villa plus in costa blanca (villa pla). Villa is completely misrepresented in the online pics, they didn't send out any of our travel docs until my wife called them 7 days before departure. Villa was disgusting, washing machine and kettle did not work for 5 days, water main broke and we had workmen in the villa for an entire afternoon (not really there fault i know..) the villa was infested with ants and not cleaned on arrival, in fact even after the rep sent in 3 cleaners to sort out the problems the place was still filthy. Mould all over en-suite bathroom...shall i go on?! Having read reviews about villa plus and researched the company I genuinely feel that we had bad luck. still, would never consider booking with them again. Claim is now with the Trading Standards and Small Claims Court and we are fighting for full refund and expenses.

Just though I should put it out there..

We have been in correspondence with our clients who stayed at this villa and we accept that on this occasion the clients did encounter some problems that fell short of our high standards. We have apologised for the inconvenience caused and tried to respond to our client's concerns.

Villaplus.com have been renting villas since 1986 and have 24 hour representatives in all resorts.

Will be staying at the Villa Alessandra in Santo Tomas, Menorca soon we know the resort very well but are a bit concerned about the villa and the operator after reading some of the comments, can any one advise.

We have booked with Villa Plus 4 times over the last 6 yrs they are great, very impressed with the service from all the staff both in the UK & in the Algarve. The villas are a home from home. After our first stay in one of their villas I looked in some holiday magazines for private rentals but Villa Plus could not be beaten. I have 2 teenage sons who enjoy the pool table, this & the pool keep them happy. We have stayed in other villas with other companies but found they did not compare. I have recomended them quite a few times to friends & will continue to do so. I don't mind ringing them to make my payment, I think from a security point of view this is good, you don't know who is ringing you & who you are giving your card details to. I'm sure we will go to the Algarve again & I know we will book with Villa Plus again.

just returned from lanzarote in a luxury villa and must say i will never go back to an apartment after this villa as it was absolute luxury ( i wont mention the villa name as im getting it again in 2009) i hope but all in all the company , the rep , and the villa was A+++++
