Me and my fiance have decided to get married in Cyprus Aug 2009. After looking through loads of internet wedding planning sights and comparing prices to that of tour operator, first choice / Thomson etc we are even more confused than we started! Can anyone tell me who is the better to go with tour operator or independent company. Any advice or reccomendations greatly appreciated

Theres a lot of information lurking on the cyprus pages, dont know if you've had a look? Always worth a read and see what people others went with.

Wedding in Cyprus
Hi, I am looking into the same thing! We're wanting to get married in Sept 09 in Paphos. I have been looking at loads of websites, have got totally confused and am now looking in cyprus4weddings.com- Evelyn Demetriou, as they have been recommended to us through family/friends.
We're wanting a local company to help us, as they have better local knowleged and more value for money. We also saw a holiday company wedding last year when we were on holiday and I don't want a rep there with a clip board!
Good websites I've seen are-
cyprusdreamweddings.com
ido.com
the-weddingcompany.com
paphostotalweddings.com
Good luck, I'll let you know if I hear back from company...
