beware rip off charges on pool and seaviews when paying for

I have recently come back from holiday which was booked with Thomas Cook please be warned if asked if you would like to pay for extras IE seaview or pool view dont as Thomas Cook cant guarantee them as stated in there T & Cs I made the mistake of not asking when booking a room and paid for seaview at a cost of £84 , And of course the travel agent didnt advise that they could not be guaranteed, in there t & cs it says ( which I failed to read as I am sure most people fail to read ) it comes under ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW /Glossary of Terms
(Views )If you would like a specific view,please be aware that rooms described as having a pool or seaview may not have FULL pool or Sea view because of plants or building blocking the view,
but this isnt made at time of booking
Why there are allowed to sell them when in the t & cs cant provide them it is a rip off and fraud
I have made the mistake just this once and wont book another room with views ever again to be conned and ripped off , I complained and was point to t & cs which I expected as when they got your money they dont give a toss
Please all be aware of this and hope you all have an enjoyable holiday and be wise unlike silly me

Although they can ask the hotel that you get a sea/pool view they cannot guarantee it. They really should not charge unless that are 100% certain to get what you book.It is wrong but unfortunatly you wont be able to do anything about it because it is in the VERY small print.

I have learnt now dont take everything at face value its a case of they want it there way all the time so thats why i think small print should be made large and up front all the time but alas this will never happen ,
I am going to ask for a braille version and a large print of t&cs ,I am sure they will have to provide one
