Well, we got the call to confirm our holiday last night and guess what?! They told us the flights had gone up by 35 per person (basically adding 80 onto our holiday). Hmm... anyway seeing as it's not that much extra we agreed to pay it and have been told that that's it all booked up and we will be sent our tickets about a week before we fly. I can't help but be a bit worried though! Hopefully nothing else will go wrong!

Dear Sam

I also booked a holiday with this company. They took my bank details and sent an e-mail stating they would reply in 24 hours. After the time lapsed I phoned them only to be told that the holiday cost had risen by 100.

Whilst on the phone the guy went to to the Ryanair website to find out the cost. Thanks, but I am quite capable of doing that myself. Time wasters.

I am off to Malaga tomorow and I didnt book with Sunsave. My partner rang them as well and they were pretty naff. We booked with on the beach. We have booked with them twice before, once to turkey last year and to malaga the year before. They seem fine. Good luck to everyone and hope you all have wonderful breaks.

We booked 2 weeks in portugal with sunsave yesterday and after reading the reviews decided to phone. Yes its true the advertised holiday was not available or the dates chosen. They were just about to offer an alternative which would have been at a greater price or a different airport. If you have booked please phone them and get them to email confirmation that they will not take payment. Decided to pay a bit more and go with a well known reputable company. Goodluck

from reading the reviews on sunsave.com, i am so worried now. the same situation happened to me. i booked a really good deal to fuerteventura on the website and received a confirmation email to say they will contact us which they did. however, when they called me back, the flights had gone up and guess what? there was only six seats left on the flight. so thinking we could miss out, i booked the holiday and paid the extra. this was on the 05 March 2008, we have not received any tickets to date. oh no! in additional to this, once i had booked the holiday i emailed there customer services to make a complaint as they told me i would not get cheaper elsewhere, and i checked and could.

nobody has replied to my email.

never book with sunsave

At last some good news. I have rang manchester airport to confirm my flight details and they said that it is in fact flying on the
dates what sunsave said. I've also found out that sunmasters.co.uk are also apart of Globel travel just like sunsave. Sunmasters are also cheap holidays but have alot better reviews.

At least that's some good news. We confirmed our booking on the phone and paid on Thursday night so it's just a matter of seeing whether the tickets show up! We've been assured that they will be posted out to us nearer the time of the holiday. I will be phoning them a week before we fly if they don't arrive and chasing them. I'm frightened to get excited about my holiday incase we're not actually booked on this flight afterall!

Seems a very familiar story, that they seem to tell you that there are only 4 or 6 seats left on the flight and it has gone up by about 30-40 each. I booked anyway, but now i am worried that my tickets won't turn up. I just want to relax and get excited about my holiday, please someone...tell me that they're not that bad!!!

We got our confirmation letter through from Sunsave yesterday and everything looks quite official and correct and lists our names and the flight number we are booked onto and all the flight times. It enclosed our accommodation voucher which we have to keep and present when we arrive at the apartments. All the details appear to be correct. Now all we need is our flight tickets and usually they don't appear until about a week before you fly. So far so good! I'm feeling hopeful!
