| Hi Yes I booked a holiday with them on Monday went through all the booking process and put all my card details in. At the end it said that they would get back and confirm the details within 24 hours. They called 2 days later to inform me that the holiday no longer existed. I doubt very much that many of them do. I think it's just a ploy because they offered me alternatives that were from other airports, miles from where I live and at much higher costs. Just beware and don't raise your hopes that the holidays exist at that price.

| Hi Sam,
just wondering if you booked with sunsave.com and if so how did you find them. I like you found a good deal and booked with them. I've recieved an initial letter confirming everything, but as yet have not recieved any tickets.

| I would stay away from this website. I had provisonally booked a holiday with them, they took 2 days to call back and have now quoted me the same holiday for £300 pound more. Also they ask for your bank details before you even have the confirmation.
Bit concerned now that they have them. They also said that most of their flights are supplied from ryan air so i would go with better know companys.
Thanks

| Hi. Ive booked a holiday to Tenerife with them and are waiting to hear back. After things Ive read - I'm a little worried. Wondered what others did when they didnt have the holiday they booked and offered more expensive alternatives, were the company ok when you didnt book, or was there any hassle. If we back out now we face cancellation charges. Any advice?

| A warning to all ...... Do not book with Sunsave.Com. I booked a flight and hotel on the 10th March 2008 travelling to Egypt on 22nd March 08 for 7 nights. I received booking confirmation confirming flights on 22nd March 08 and a hotel voucher for 7 nights, but no flight tickets arrived. I telephoned their customer services dept who told me I could collect my flight tickets from the airport. I arrived at the airport on Saturday 22nd March 08 to find out the flight details on my confirmation did not exist. When I contacted them they then tried to make out that I had asked and booked flights for 2009. Needless to say I have contacted BBC Watchdog and am now taking legal advice.

| Sunsave rang me today to confirm my booking.. They said the holiday had changed and we would have to pay an extra £60 per person, or could choose another hotel at a cheaper price.
Didnt have time to choose another hotel, as they said there were only 4 places left on the flight.. and we kinda had our hearts set on this particular hotel... and flight date.
Hopefully everything should go smoothly from here..

| We also booked our holiday with Sunsave in February only to be told that the easyjet airlines only had two seats left (we were a party of 4)and had to book alterrnetive flights asap otherwise we would miss out on the holiday. This was an additional cost to us of £300. It seems that they are using this trick with quite a few people!! Be aware!! We went on easyjet and found that the flights were still available, much to our annoyance Sunsave would not refund the extra charges. Avoid Sunsave, we will be taking this further and going to BBC Watchdog

| I'm worried too. We tried to book on line last night for a fortnight in Turkey. The deal was great £250 pp for a fortnight self catering, with good flight times. However, after entering our debit card details we were told that someone would call to confirm the booking within 24 hours. I thought it was pretty strange, but I figured someone would call back quite quickly as they would be wanting the sale. I am still sitting waiting by the phone this afternoon wondering what's going on!
Really concerned after reading some of these reviews. I hope that someone has genuinely got a good deal and can reasure us that Sunsave are not cowboys!!

| Hello All
I am just about to book at short break to Malaga that I saw advertised last night on the web. I am worried now reading all the info. I am going to try and ring them and see what they say etc and will fill you in. Has anyone actually had a smooth transaction. I agree with some of the comments "it seems too good to be true" cheap hols etc.
Keep you posted
Sheila

| I have just called them and they informed me the flights would be the same price as the easyjet website, I informed them easyjet were much more, so they advised me that I should book my flights direct with easyjet as they would be the same price! Also they could not give me a price for the holiday. They also advised their website is updated regulary , but i informed them that the prices are the same as they were last night. I am very unsure what to do.

| That is pretty worrying. If I knew last night what I know now after reading the comments on this website I wouldn't have looked near them - kicking myself.
The flights that we selected were with XL airways or something. XL airways have their own website and the prices on sunsave were the same as XL's own website when I looked, so hopefully that means I shouldn't have any problems with the flights... unless of course there is a problem with the accommodation. I'm just looking forward to them phoning me back and confirming everything. It's the waiting around that's doing my head in. It's all very suspicious! It's awful cos I was so excited about getting it booked!

| I am going to continue searching and check their website and easyjet again. I am rapidly going off the idea. When I rang they did answer pretty quickly, maybe give them a ring and see what they are doing. I also did advise them they have not got a good write up on Holiday Watchdog!

| Good for you. Maybe they will buck up their ideas. Probably half of their problems are just caused by bad communication between their reps and they are not deliberately trying to rip people off... I hope!!
