| I read in the press that some airlines are refusing to let diabetic people carry their syringes on board...namely BA. As we are going to Portugal in Sept...and I am diabetic insulin dependent, I phoned our travel agent who checked with the airline we're using..First Choice Airline. I can take syringes on board in cabin luggage, if they are clearly marked with the prescription label, this applies to ALL medication anyone has to carry. Its a first for me, I've never had a problem in the past. Its brought about by those idiots who get violent on board an aircraft. The knock-on effect! Thought some of you out there might like to know this. Happy hols! ::roll:

| hello there , I have never had this problem , I just tell them at the arrival desk and when you go thru the scanner bit and there is no problem ( so far )
I did have to show a doctors letter the first couple of time we flew but this was relaxed and now it is no problem...I hope this was just a blip you came up against and does not spread or a lot of people might just not go and the airline will have to reconsider ?..enjoy your holidays and do not worry , they wont send you home ( I hope ) ..G :occasion1
