Jellyfish Invade Spanish Beach Resorts

Joined: 06 Nov 2003 Posts: 1703 My Profile	A plague of jellyfish has brought chaos to tourist resorts across Spain. One beach has been closed and warning flags have gone up at several others after scores of swimmers were stung. Montserrat Gasco, the spokesperson for Benidorm town hall, said that the beaches were currently safe but, as in past years, September is the known season for medusas, as jellyfish are called in Spanish.
