| British holidaymakers in Florida have been forced to flee north to escape the path of Hurricane Wilma, the strongest storm ever recorded in the Atlantic with winds of 160 mph (257 kph).

| Just spoken to my Friend in Miami, said they are only on first alert as of this morning, but the Keys are again being evacuated.
Lets hope it blows itself out.

| Wilma predited path is still unsure as far as Florida is concerned.
Cozumel appears to taking winds up to 165mph.
Just hope Cruise ships left the area beforehand. Wave surge as high as twenty feet predicted.
Anyone got newer reports?

| One of my friends is in Florida now, he'll probably come home early, but that is not the place to holiday at this time of year. Hopefully as many lives will be saved as possible but America is getting the worst of the weather this year.

| Downtown Miami and Ft Lauderdale have been hit hard.
Just spoken to my friend, power is out all over from Miami to Ft Lauderdale and as far west as West Palm. The keys was hit Sunday.
She has lost her car and trees down in the yard, some neighbours have lost roofs with one house destroyed. No planes flying at this time.
