| Sniffer dogs have gone on duty at Britain's airports as the first line of defence against bird flu.
They are searching for banned poultry, eggs and feathers being carried in by passengers from Romania and Turkey, where outbreaks have been discovered.

| better to go crazy for security measures than regret it later on!! Turkish people always sneak salami and other stinky stuff in their hand bags..it's law with them..everytime i had them on my planes they found them to be carrying food items that were perishable!

| Thats very true bluecrush, we have had Turkish students stay with us in the past, and they always bring perishable food with them....problem is, they don't always get stopped at the airport.
