Holiday in Tunisia

We are planning to visit Tunisia for 7 days with my friend (both young and loving fun) would anybody recommend us which resort to stay and what to see there, what trips to take?

i recommand port kantaoui, nice place, if you are looking for fun, many nice disco, clean beach...you can book of any of the hotels there...if you need i can suggest a hotel name

I would say if you are all young and fun loving perhaps Sousse may be a better option, lots of bars, restaurants, a Casino and some night clubs. As for trips well there are many to choose from but The two day safari is hard work but well worth the money an effort, the Pirate Ship trips are always good fun if the Sea is fairly calm and The Tunis, Carthage Sidi Bou Siad taking in the excellent Bardo Museum is also very good.

I have been going to tunisia for over 3 years now and always stay in the bel_air hotel in hammamet.The other hotels which are good are the hammamet gardens,african queen which has just been built.You have the best nightlife within walking distance with any of these hotels such as the shakespere bar and it is english with excellent english food day and night and also english staff.It shows every football match and the music is brill.

Another historic trip is Douge.
We have been to Carthage twice & Sidi Bou Said. Really enjoyed the desert trip (safari) to see where Star Wars was filmed (2 day trip) & also saw the salt lakes & El Djem amphitheatre.
