Hi Georgeone
It's me again 2.
Yes you can charge batteries there- we just plug the charger for our digi cam batteries into the adaptor, same for mobile.
Check your network will work over there, tell them exactly where you'll be in because ours sometimes works in one area and not another.
There are public phones over there called taxiphones, they are shops just with public phone boxes in. A call home is about 2 max for 5 minutes. they take dinars and there is always someone manning the shop with loads of change. Most hotels have at least one taxiphone place within 50 yards of the gates. Don'e use the hotel phone they charge an arm and a leg.
Hope that helps
Tunisiamad.
Ps Where and when are you staying?
We are off in May (5 weeks today-not like i'm counting!)

Hi George
We are off on 11th to Port el Kantaoui, we haven't been to El Hana in Skanes but have been to Skanes 3 times and are there in August. There's a small town/village opposite Skanes called Sahline which is worth a visit. It's abit of a walk but you can get a taxi or carriage ride up there.
Yes I have email but not msn.
Tunisiamad -desperately counting!!!
