Now, now Carol haircut indeed I left my hair on the Prairie next to the Mohawk trail when I was riding with Custer, and if you think I’m putting my throat on view when Mrs T is around you have got an other think coming. That's really tempting fate.

Costa Serena here we come open the wine.

Hi Tenpin, long time no speak. Like Carol said do treat yourself to the cut throat shave, my hubby loved it, said it was the best shave he'd ever had. I must admit hubby did get a bit worried when they lit a taper to get rid of those embarassing ear and nose hairs.

Have a lovely holiday Tenpin...xx

Mal :)

Just to let everyone know that I have just returned from our office in Icmeler, Turkey and the rate is 2.420tl to £1 (our rate) It is creeping up nicely!

Weather has now settled out there after a few thunder storms and cold fronts. And the SUMMER IS HERE! now HOT!

Hope you all have a lovely time!

Our family are going to marmaris on july 24th for the first time,we've been told it's best to take enough turkish lira for a couple of days, then get the rest changed over there because you get a much better rate over in turkey, which sounds a good idea, but i read that some exchange offices try to rip you off,is this true?

Hi, Yes it is true. Be careful - ask the rate, if there is any commissions and how much lira you would get for the amount you are changing.

The best and easiest way is to say you are changing 100 pounds and what would you get for this. This is an easy amount to work out in your head. If the rate for example is 2.40tl to £1 then you will receive 240tl for £100. £10 will be 24tl.

There is an exchange office in Icmeler on the corner of Litera Hotel which displays an amount, says there is no commission and then short changes everyone. When questioned, he says its tax. ITS RUBBISH.

Please be aware!

Having said that, there are lots of honest exchange bureaus.

It is best to change in Turkey.

Have a great holiday. Remember IT IS HOT IN JULY!
