Just wondering what the latest "crazy" songs where in turkey!! I love every song though so it wont really matter to me hehe!! Don't holiday songs just bring back so many memories!! Hope everyone who has come back from turkey had a great time!! Cant wait till i go now!!

Nothing new really, just the usual holiday music. Loud and for me unbearable aftering hearing the same music every night for three months!! Never mind only another three months to go and Icmeler will yet again be like a ghost town for the winter.

Its amazing to see it so busy and full of life with all bars and restaurants in full swing and then at the end of October, no one about, hardly a single person or car on the street with all bars and restaurants closed until the next season. Quite sad really, but very very peaceful yet again!

this is the current turkish top 40 sales-not too unlike our own uk chart! and quite normal compared to some european charts!!
no34 is an excellent dance track as is no 26 and the pussycat dolls are about to take over the world!! noticible absence of crazy frog and snappy krocodile-but im sure they will get played everywhere from sept 21st when I get to Altinkum!!

All businesses close up for the winter season and most go back to their home towns, villages, etc.

It is like a ghost town in the winter. Restaurants are unrecognisable as they become just part of the street. No one around and no traffic. Beach has gone and back to dirty with all boats onshore.

One or two cafes open on the sea front such as Erdem Cafe and Cans Cafe.

From speaking to lots of the bar staff etc, when we were there it seems only very few stay behind in the resorts end of October, lots of the head to Istanbul to find work there over the winter season. It seems a shame that Turkey isnt a winter sun vacation the weather there must be warmer that the Spanish resorts.I cannot imagine Icmeler deserted,, we were there it was bustling and very busy. A bit too busy for me to be honest I was pleased to get back to Turunc.

ive just come back from gumbet/bodrum, and have been hunting around for a song i heard in halikarnas (i can say i've been to bodrum now ) and quite a lot in general. it sounded like ali bom bali or bombali, however its actually called dale don dale, by a spanish rapper called don omar. i know how difficult it is to find info like this, especially when it has to be translated from dutch forums but now this should save other english-speakers the hassle.
