Well ... It's almost here....We fly next thursday for two glorious weeks in Marmaris...Two well earned weeks of..................Nothing !!! The suitcases are being aired off....Wer'e getting all nervous and excited....see you.... .:cheers:

just came bk from turkey on monday and it was brilliant had a couple ov days with bad weather but you can expect that in april nt many places open but it was nice tht it was quiet 11 week til we go bk

Hi Mark,We're flying with Thomson . From Manchester ....We went to Turkey for the first time last year,to Side....We loved it.This time we decided to try Marmaris.....Hope you have a fab time. :thumleft:

Went to Side last year end of May. Lovely people but Side was a bit modern for us.

Going to Dalyan in August supposed to be a bit more quaint I think, although just been told the beach there isnt great, didnt think of this, we need a beach as with two toddlers the pool is a danger!

Anyone know more about the beaches etc

this will be my 2nd time to Marmaris - went to Bodrum last year. looking forward to supping some Efe's in the sun (got to say, I've been getting my practice in - as Weatherspoons now stocks bottles of Efe's).

off to Alvaro Apartments in Icmeler on 21st August for 2 weeks - this will be our 2nd year running and it was the best holiday we ever had.

Great bunch of staff - Naci (who we've kept in touch with), Zazi, Leon, Nico (won't be here this year

), Erjon and his wife Danielle and their baby - probably we walking when we see them later this year.

Booked with Airtours and we booked it 12 months in advance and struggled to get dates we wanted so will be booking very soon for next year, just to make sure we get the dates we want :thumleft:

I've just unearthed my suitcase to give it an airing....

I'm now on the final countdown.... in 8 days time I'll be donning my shorts and dazzling Icmeler with my lily white legs again!

Off on May 15th for a week staying at the all-new Lighthouse Apartments, can't wait to see what they're like!
