Hi fellow travellers,

Has anyone been to this hotel or perhaps spoken to anyone who has been staying there in the recent past?

We are booked there in March but cannot find any information or indication that the hotel is finished and that all the "planned" facilities as detailed in all the Thomson brochures and web pages! I have even written to Portland viw their contact website page and rung the Thomson call centre but no-one will commit to anything other than the "the brochures are printed a year in advance and there is nothing showing on the computer and that we wouldnt sell a holiday that wasnt ready".

Can anyone help??

Thanks

Testing Testing Testing. Having real problems with the site at the moment. Could get in to the website and view everything apart from the forum. Then I couldnt log in as my password was apparently wrong. Requested a password and that didnt work, now requested another and entered the forum, yipee!!! replied to a thread and a message came up saying it would not be placed as I had to log in first, but I was already logged in! then low and behold when I submitted the reply it worked.

I have been having the same problems with bank cards and many other electronic items at the moment. Is their a gremlin lurking I am beginning to wonder, its becoming scary!

H E L P!

I think Im back online on holidaywatchdog, please somebody out there tell me Im not going insane!!!!

NO Carol your not going insane.

Had wondered why we hadn't heard from you lately.

Hope your well and look forward to hearing whats happening in Turkey this year on here as I won't be going. Boo Hoo. Hubby decided to go to Majorca. He hates night flights and long transfers.

Just to let people know. The Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort and Spa is not going to be open until Easter/May.

We have been offered the Jaz Mirabel Beach instead. Not overly happy as it is so far out the way and they refused to refund the difference in price but that is another story! Having been to Sharm before we enjoy sitting at the cafe's in Naama watching life go by smoking a sisha!!

Will just have to wait and see - at the end of the day it will hopefully be warm and relaxing.
