Hello,
Off to Villa Beldeniz through Goldtrail in just over 5 weeks time. Seen some reviews on tripadvisor and all looks good but wondered if anybody on here as any experiences of the hotel.
Can't wait to try out the turkish bath and chill out for a week on that gorgeous beach - lush.
Cheers

Villa Beldeniz - Olu Deniz
Hi Leisurelad,
I envy you so much-Personally think The Beldeniz is the best Hotel in Olu. Been there 5 times now, last time May this year. Its in a great location, just minutes from the beach & main street. Really laid back, small, really friendly staff, especially Toro & Eric. Mehmet the manager's only grumpy on the surface! Power showers are amazing. Mini Bar useful for keeping water etc. Plasma screens, great Free Aircon. Breakfast, typically Turkish but hey there are so many places to get a full English if you really need one. Drinks in Hotel on a par with those in main resort, 5ytl for a large Efes & 10ytl for cocktails/shorts. Few people said the bar could be quite noisy late at night, didn't notice, probably coz we were still in there!
They have a barbeque/Turkish evening once a week, £10, good value & good laugh. Noray, the cleaning lady is lovely & will decorate your beds with flower petals & shape ur towels into hearts/fans at least once during your stay. You'll have a great time.
The only negative is that now we've become really boring & don't want to try anywhere else!!
P.S. Say hallo to Buddy

Hi again,
Think the Paragliding is about £60 from memory- been to Olu 8 times now(5 at Beldeniz) & still not done it-keep saying maybe next time. It looks absolutely amazing & we've spoken to lots of people who have done it, they all say its great.I prefer to sit upstairs in Buzz Bar with a nice cool drink & watch the brave souls float down from the sky. Good for you if you do go -go with one of the reputable agents like Sky Sports,Easy Riders,Focus.
Book all your trips with the agents in Olu, they're so much cheaper than with your reps-just avoid a guy calling himself bloody gorgeous.
We usually book with George at Easy Riders on the front/he's not let us down yet.
There's deffo something about Olu Deniz that gets you hooked. There's so much to do & plenty of great bars/restaurants/beaches etc. Try Sugar Beach or Seahorse Beach for a really chilled out day, you might need it after paragliding!
Don't miss Kaya Village (Ghost Town) its only ten mins away & its a unique experience.
I'm starting to ramble now-but if you need any more info, just ask.

Hi Leisurelad
Have a really great holiday-you wont want to come home
Say congratulations to Eric (the waiter) as I understand he's just got engaged.
Try The Pasa Turkish Baths, up by The Lycian Dreams Apartments on the dolmus road they're really good & just by the place where you can get a large Efes for just 2 lira

Re: Villa Beldeniz - Olu Deniz
Hello,
Well just got back from the Villa Beldeniz yesterday. Hotel is great, just the right size for me. Plenty of sunloungers and the rooms were very well furnished plus the power shower is great and allways managed to get hot water.
Olu Deniz itself is beautiful and laying by the beach watching the paragliders all day is quite a chill out plus managed to get a fab tan as the weather was mid-high twenties which is perfect for me.
Slight downsides to the resort:
One thing id did notice is that it isn't very cheap to eat out and have drinks compared to other places i have been within the med. Thought Turkey was reknowned for being cheap !!!
Average main course with one alcoholic drink for two people averaged out around 60-70YTL (£26-£30/£13-£15each), you pay that down here in the uk.
Drinks i found quite expensive too 10YTL for a vodka and coke (£4.40), i only pay about £2.75 here.
The turkish tradesmen i found quite irrating unfortunately and there only interested in you if you are going to spend which they will try and rob you blind if they can. They haven't grasped the buy one get one free offers yet though which was quite amusing. Asked how much the turkish delight was and he said 4.50YTL buy one get one free so i though ill buy two and get the other two free meaning i would pay 9YTL, gave him a 20YTL note and he only gave me 6YTL change, i said that wasn't right to which he explained that they are 4.50YTL individualy or if you want the buy one get one free its 7YTL hence i only got 6YTL change!!!
Other than that had a fab time and Onur Air were on time going out and back and service and everything although basic, they did what it says on the tin so please dont be nervous or anything if you fly with this company. Basic flight but no worse than some of the UK charters
Goldtrail were fine, no major problems with them although thir in-resort service lets them down badly. Didn't see any reps apart from the transfer which is no issue for me but did try to call them twice during the office hourse to get a turkish lady saying "us not here" which if it was someone that had a problem then i can see how people get peed off with them.
Cheers
