Whats Marmaris like at Christmas & New Year

Has anyone been at this time of year and whats it like? Are the restaurants and shops open. Or is it a no no nad quite deserted

I thought it closed down for winter? Or have times changed now?

I thought it closed for winter but on seeing this advertised last week I thought I would ask, it was cheap as chips £230 2 weeks.

Apparently it doesn't close down in winter as there is alot of Turkish live there.Sorry never been at this time of year,might be some rain but I guess warmer than here.
