hi,i,m new to this forum and looking to book turkey for our next holiday, but our problem is being a family with 3 young children and finding a hotel that will accomodate us all.the reason for a hotel is having kids activities like a pool with slides,a club that will keep them ocupied and us staying in a good hotel for food and service,is this possible in turkey?we have seen the barut lara in lara beach but the price is a bit steep.dont mind 2 rooms if they can be guaranted interconnecting but again find most companies charge the kids as adults then charge again for underoccupency!any ideas and advice please
thanks annie

Hi family of five.
It is difficult to accommodate five in hotels, I have been to the Club Julian in marmaris and they have six person apartments. they also have slides in the pools. It appears to be a family friendly place. and the grounds are quite nice, I have also stayed at the Portobello apartments Im not sure if they have 2 bed roomed apartments but they have lots of pools and watersides etc there. might be worth having a look int he brochure. cheers Carol

Not advertising Thomsons ! ...but if you go on thomsons web site and then go on the hotels bit only , you will get loads. Plus you will actually see the prices of the rooms for the period you want , that way you can work out whether its cheaper to diy it or do as a package.

Hi,
You could try the Asena Beach Hotel in Olu Deniz as I know they have family rooms suitable for two adults & up to three children & Olu Deniz is a lovely family resort.

Hi Family of Five
I've stayed in Club Alize, Club Portobello, Keskin and Club Ilayda in the past. My whole family stayed in Club Alize 3yrs ago when it first opened as I was getting married and everyone loved it. It was the first year it was open and everything was nice and new. Full entertainment programme and waterslides too. I'm going back in 2 weeks and I'm looking at booking this or Club Orient (orient only has 1bed apt but is fab, bit further out tho.)
Club Portobello is excellent for children with loads of pools, slides and entertainment to keep everyone happy. If you stay here request the new block (which most of the 2beds are anyway) as they're mich better than the old blocks
Club Ilayda was good too, bit further that the previous 2 but not much, 10 min wak to the beach, smaller than Portobello and Alize but nice all the same located near the Amphitheatre. Still with entertainment and slides.
Palm Garden/Keskin. Its been a few yrs since I stayed here myself but my friends go back year after year and they love it. as another post said its next door to portobello which is in turn next to Alize so all really close together.
What board basis are you wanting. All of the above do self catering, bed breakfast or half board I think but maybe u want all inclusive?? If you do it will narrow your options considerably and to be fair its still dead cheap to eat out in Turkey. Also All Inc can be a bit repetetive sometimes.
Hope this helps
