Stanwix Park inSilloth on the west coast near the Lake District is an award winning park.We stayed there in July camping for 4 nights and enjoyed it so much we stayed another 2 nights.
The pitches all have electric hook up and water. The grass inbetween pitches was lovely and there was room for car.The toilets, showers and campers kitchen were all clean and very well maintained.
There is an indoor and outdoor pool, kids club, tennis court, bowling alley, amusement arcade etc.
Everywhere is spotlessly clean and actually all looks new.
They also hire out caravans. Our parents stayed in one and that too was lovely. We would definetly return to this site.

Try either Haven Holidays for great fun-packed lively parks or Parkdean Holidays for fun-packed value holidays

I go to dorset, or devon. both beautiful places, near the sea. lovely landscapes and scenery, and brilliant campsites.

A site in the new forest called 'sandy balls' is very good! It does have fairly expensive site fees in high season, but the site is extremely well maintained and the facilities are excellent. A belleamy gold awarded site, it has its own woodland walks/cycle trails where you can see the sandy mounds from where it got its' name. It also has swimming pools, leisure centre, restaurants a plenty, cycle hire and much more to keep everyone entertained. When you tire of that, the new forest is full of things to do and see, and the isle of wight a short ferry trip away, as is poole.
